These players are fairly transparent, gotta be some more juice. I guess these reporters though have to hold back sometimes or else they don't get any interviews in the future.

Yea would love to see some detailed books about this type of thing along the lines of The Late Shift and others like that. I guess there will be some about LBJ career, the question is whether they will give us good additional dirt.

Pop probably. If you're hiring any coach from history right now, any choice other than Pop seems wrong.

If I'm trying to win a playoff series w/ a random roster I take Brad.

yeah, Pop is the GOAT, but I'm just talking about in-game coaching.

Report: Lebron James is furious that he wasn't consulted about writing Blatt's firing letter

Cleveland, OH- Several insiders with knowledge on the situation have revealed that Lebron James is currently extremely upset with the Cleveland front office because they didn't seek his advice before sending the severance letter to David Blatt.

"It's really unfair. I'm not asking for much. Just some respect." Said James. "When I made the decision to have Blatt fired, I assumed that I'd at least be present when they wrote the letter to have him fired. Instead, I didn't even get a call, a text, nothing."

Many insiders believe Cleveland's decision to leave James out of the letter writing is their way of drawing a line in the sand. Regardless, Lebron was extremely critical of the letter. "First off, Dan used comic sans again. I keep telling him Times New Roman or Arial, but he won't listen. Second, they only told Blatt to **** off 4 times. I would have liked that number to have been at least double." A perturbed James continued - "And finally, they made it clear that it was my decision and my decision alone to have him fired. In reality, I consulted many people before forcing the front office to have him fired, such as my barber, my wife, and my mom."

At press time, Tyronn Lue is getting a stern talking-to from Lebron on how he wants the Cavs offence to be run.

We know enough about Bobbo though to know that Stevens > Pop is a very BOOBO take and that BOOBO takes have been pretty consistently hilariously wrong.

Lol and yea that "archaic paper system" where minor details such as income, job, etc. were verified before giving out $400,000 loans.

Welp, Cavs suck now. Time to blow it up imo. Trade the big 3 for picks; build around Delly.
01-24-2016 , 12:18 AM
Trade Kevin Love at the least.

By massive do you mean 3 games? They play the spurs on Saturday.

So...

A proud Jewish owner hires an widely praised Israeli coach with zero American/NBA experience. The affirmative action impulse is understandable, but should have been overruled by good judgement or good advice. The coach took the job I think for the money rather than the odd chance he thought he could succeed.

The teams black stars and assistant coaches cover for his lack of NBA skills for a year and a half and win impressively in spite of him. They do this because they do not want to be known as coach killers or back stabbers. They could not totally conceal their disdain from him, however.

The GM who on one hand should have done this earlier, shows courage finally by firing the guy at the worst possible time knowing full well he will be incurring the wrath of the White coaching establishment and feeding the fuel for the anti-LeBron writer at Yahoo.
