Then you haven't seen them play this season.

This just seems ******ed too me. They're the new Phoenix of the East w/o a real pg.

I'll agree that though it raises their ceiling, it's probably not enough.
I concur. It's probably not enough.

I don't really think they're getting true value for Gortat and Pietrus.

I guess they're spooked about Melo (allegedly) not wanting to sign an extension anywhere but NY.

seems like a weird couple o' deals...

Who would think PHX would have a trade this size and not be shipping Nash-head out!?

@KBerg_CBS #Rockets tried to get in mix for Gortat, with Kevin Martin going to #Magic, but "couldn't get it done."
Not surprising since Houston loves Gortat. Still, I think that shows just how much Orlando overpaid in this deal.
12-18-2010 , 03:56 PM
The only player I would even want from Phx is Nash. There's really no point in going after JRich, but I can see them wanting Hedo back.
12-18-2010 , 03:56 PM
Even though I love Jrich, I think I like this trade for Phoenix. Looks like we save some money? get rid of Hedo, get some decent players back. Not like we're winning anything this year anyway.
12-18-2010 , 03:58 PM
wow, kevin martin woulda been a great option for the magic. wonder why they couldnt get that done.

Gotta love it for the Suns imo, as Gortat will be really good. And don't forget Vince is DUST Chip 2.0 as well (though you guys might just cut him and pocket the savings).

The Magic are desperate to please Dwight Howard and keep him out of free agency in two years. Will this be enough?
I never really imagined Dwight would leave Orlando, but I guess if they can't get past the 2nd round the next two seasons it makes sense for him to leave.

If NYK whiffs on Melo, it would be pretty sweet for them to scoop CP3 + Dwight.

Boston also has just Pierce + Rondo under contract and can make a reasonable pitch to HGH.

Miami can offer him the MLE + guaranteed rangzzz, but that's just not fair.

Free agency 2012 might be almost as fun as it was this year. Very feasible that Dwight, CP3, and Deron are all pissed that their teams can't go far enough in the playoffs.

Maybe the Lakers will snag HGH in 2 years. Get rid of Odom (if his contract isn't up by then) and dump Bynum, and I'm allllllll for it. Hell, they can even scoop Deron while they're at it.

Daryl Moron probably wanted Dwight Howard with it.

Holy ****ing **** that would be epic.

At that point LBJ, Bosh, and Wade could even re-structure their deals to break Dwight off some $$$.

I'm sure Dwight would make more money in endorsements just by being on the Heat and then even more with multiple rangzzzz.

How do you ever stop the Heat if HGH is on board???

I think Dwight has got it pretty sweet for himself in Orlando. He's the franchise there and f this joining up with your **** buddies bs.

High5 for Chilltown. Preach on...

the article in lolpn is saying orlando and the wiz could do lewis for arenas, pretty interesting imo for orlando. wizards probably are looking for an excuse to get rid of arenas but i havent been fllowing the wiz enough to know if he is playing anything like his former self.

Pretty sweet doesn't include multiple ranggzzzz

I think HGH + the Superfriends + BobboFitos still wins the ship.

Okay, okay maybe not our #1 poster at the #1 spot, but Arroyo still and it's easy rangzzz

Uh dude, this trade is a MASSIVE MASSIVE MASSIVE win for Phoenix.

I also think you'll make the playoffs now.

The drop from JRich to VC is not that bad. Losing Hedo helps. Gortat mans the middle now. Etc etc.

Loss for Orlando, they overpaid for Hedo - who sucks.

We get a draft pick too? more i look at this, yeah looks like a great deal for phx
12-18-2010 , 04:41 PM
Ya you get the 27th pick in the draft don't spend it all in one place.

just increases ur odds of finding a diamond in the ruff
12-18-2010 , 04:45 PM
Orlando has no use for that pick anyway since they would have to pay him to sit on the bench.
