Yeah now that hornets suck we don't have to worry about Asseni bragging about how smart his idiot bet was.

Seconded JOA.

Yeah, I'd agree with this.

Garnett is currently playing better, at both ends of the floor, than he has at any time since the injury.

His lateral quickness and vertical explosiveness are both markedly improved in comparison to last year - perhaps best highlighted by his ability to control the defensive glass where his rebound percentage is over 31%.

His abuse of Noah and the Bulls on Friday night was vintage Big Ticket.

Pittsburgh also has a surplus of women. I've found very favorable ratios in my visits.

If any TZer is ever in need of an ego-boost, go to Charleston, SC. I just got back from there and it's a city full of eights that act like fours. Even like 80% of the redheads are completely unbelievable.

spent some time in Anderson, SC can confirm hot blonds 8's act like 4's.

I'm not following. What's an 8? How does a 4 typically act?
12-06-2010 , 03:18 PM
they mean that hot chicks (8's) in SC typically have the self-esteem/confidence/standards? of a below average to average looking girl (4's).

stereotypically, uglier girls are just happy a guy is talking to them and if you are even average looking you can do pretty well.

"8s like 4s" is just open season for any single guy imo.

Anyone smarter than me want to look up when the last 20pt/15ast game on perfect shooting was? (before last night obv )
12-06-2010 , 03:36 PM
From 1986-87 to 2010-11, in the regular season, requiring Points >= 20 and Assists >= 15 and Field Goal Pct = 100, sorted by descending Points.

Sorry, there are no results that match your search.

B-Ref has gamelogs back to the 86-87 season and Nashty is the only one. Stockton had a 19 pt/11 assist perfect shooting game in 2002 and CP3 had a 15 pt/15 assist perfect shooting game in 2008.

Nash's game last night made me wonder what was the highest "points:fg attempts" ratio in a game ever. Some quick bref searches and I came up with this:

http://www.basketball-reference.com/...204050CHH.html

Basically, Elden Campbell, 21 points on 4 shots.

I looked at that Wiz roster and thought "How the hell were those guys even close to a .500 team"?? then I remembered they had the corpse of Jordan playing for them 2/3rds the time. Says a lot about how good he was that he psuedo-carried that crap to a decent record while playing only like 50 games or so.

Hey guys, I was joking. I know what this means. I was trying to do the whole 2 acting like a 0 joke, but it really wasn't a good one. I'll try harder next time.

There was an interesting study done that basically said Jordan's major effect his final 2 years was that his team *suddenly* got a ton more fouls called. (For them) And, alternatively, fewer called against. The Jordan effect essentially was statistically significant to the tune of like ~4 FT discrepancy per game, which is nearly 3 pts a game. It makes sense and is kinda alarming.

a free 3 pts to the wiz under jordan? not suprising. league is so rigged.

ROY: Blake Griffin ldo

DPOY: Dwight (I'd have Bogut in the mix for this)

COY: Pop

MIP: Hibbert

6th Man: Brandon Bass
no way anyone other than dwight sniffs dpoy for like 5 years but imo he deserves legitimate consideration. the bucks were a lot worse defensively without bogut, went 1st in drtg to 5th. although say bogut gets himself on the radar with a winstreak or some big games there's an outside chance i guess. in fact iyam him putting in a historically suckass season at the ft line would prob help his chances too lol

and wtf is wrong with delfino.... "strained neck/concussion-like symptoms" who sits out this long with a concussion

so adjusting jordan's stats for riggedness probably makes his play in those last few yrs actually positive. it's kinda lol that he put up a .47ts% on 36% usage

Eh, Hornets schedule has been seriously hard when they started losing. We've played the Spurs 3 times, long road trip, b2bs. Before the season started Hornets fans took a look at the opening 20 games or so and just sighed, we would have been happy with .500. Everyone knew the team wasn't as good as its record indicated, but they don't suck.

The 3 games against the Spurs are so bizarre though. 1st game is a 9 point victory on the road. Second game sees a 17 point halftime lead devolve into like a 15 point loss or something. Third game is just a 25 point blow out. Weird.
