Hey, Chief, it was reported as 4. 3+1 the only other possibility.

Glad I could help you out, little buddy.

After one youtube linking to another, I got to see some Laimbeer highlights. **** that guy for real. Pretty much the worst qualities of any basketball player rolled into one. The NBA product is 1,000 times better than 20 years ago.

His highlights btw are him throwing his body underneath Ewing, who jumped for a ball, trying to basically inflict a career ending injury. Cool dude.

That pistons team would adapt well to the current NBA

They mentioned JR Smith in the summer league broadcast, and it reminded me of when he played in the summer league and dominated the Bulls. To be expected, though, because he was playing there IN HIS SEVENTH SEASON.

Randomly playing a summer-league game at 26 when you've been a rotation player your whole career is peak JR.

I was physically in the stands and watched that game live. We were all surprised. No one, including his own team, knew why he was there. It was a treat.

Here was my recap of that game (found this from the 2012 summer league thread)

re: NBA SUMMER LEAGUE 2012
Just got in from being @ SL. Was there all day, some thoughts...

1:00 Den v Chi

Got there at the start of the 2nd Q. For some reason JR Smith decided to play; he's not on a SL roster, so the thinking is he is randomly in Vegas, heard about his old stomping grounds, saw the Nuggets were playing, and called "next!". Anyway, he was clearly the best player on the floor; similar to LBJ w/ real NBA players. One play JR handled the ball at the top of the key, stutter-stepped behind his back past his initial defender, drew 2 others, spun around them, got hit by a 4th guy, and laid the ball up gracefully. No idea of stats, but wow JR. Unfortunately he didn't pull up from 40 ft. as he's prone to doing in the real NBA.

Ty Lawson and Coby Karl were the other NBA players on the Nuggets. Lawson looked great; he fastbreaked on every single possession. LARGELY these were good decisions, since he got a lot of baskets for his teammates (and himself). Coby Karl has good shooting form and a quick release; he epitomizes fringe-NBA as far as every secondary skill, though. Did he get a spot in the league due to nepotism? I'm not sure, since he was definitely better then the non NBA players there. Would've been more exciting/better if JR and Lawson didn't play, since Coby would've gotten the chance to be "the man".

Nuggets were up by 24? at halftime; double the Bulls score at 1 point (81-40 IIRC)... but only managed to win by 29, I think.

The Bulls had James Johnson, Chris Richards, and Morris Almond, so the combination of those three is basically 1 NBA player. James Johnson thought it would be cool to jack 3 pters and isolate off the dribble. If he continues to think like this, he will not be in the league long. Chris Richards looked goofy w/ his dreads, but he continues to be big and strong, so I suppose he, too, will thrive for the next 4-6 years as an end-of-the-bench, big and strong, garbage dude. Morris Almond can shoot and score a bit, but literally can't do anything else. Will not make the league again.

*I should note the long brightspot for the Bulls was their PG named John Lucas. (The 3rd) He made a bunch of long 2s and a few 3s.
