Wow people are actually giving stuff up to get Russ??? I thought it would be straight salary dump plus something to take that heinous contract. Glad the Knicks signed all those bad players already or else they wouldn't be able to resist

Wow that would be an incredible haul for OKC, those Pistons picks could be great

My guess is Russ will be way more receptive to Miami than Detroit which could kill the deal.

Fwiw, Simmons/Russ can't be swapped until around this time next year.

I think that is an interesting debate for the 2019-2020 season but after that, I doubt it is.

If you look at the teams you have to beat going forward it looks like most of them are going to have elite wing scorers (LeBron, Giannis, Kawhi, Durant) and Simmons is developing into an elite perimeter defender. He is an extremely easy guy to pick apart but keep in mind he is only 22!

Russ for J Murray is more interesting to me, but also that can't happen for another year either.

And another thing, why is no one pointing out that LAL probably didn't have as much leverage as it looked like given what LAC gave OKC for an older/inferior play in George?

LAC could've easily given that godfather offer for AD if Kawhi would commit. He's 28, LeBron is 35.

RHJ to the Raps, they now have some decent wing depth, although two of them can't shoot and be on the floor together. Hopefully OG can improve significantly (he had a lot of personal and injury issues last year) and they can compete in the East. It's not likely they contend for the conference unless OG, Norm, Siakam take a collective large step forward.
