Denver is the deepest of the contending teams. Grant is going to be really nice. Seems like he is always involved around the ball on D. Shot 39% on 3.4 3PA. I'd like to see them try Grant at SF so he can play with Milsap. Also intrigued if Vanderbilt can be a Montrezl-lite.

Murray/Morris
Gary/Beasley
Barton/Craig/Juancho
Milsap/Grant/Vanderbilt
Jokic/Plumlee/Bol

What was the most questionable offseason move so far?

Quote:
Andrews: It was not so long ago that Paul George publicly declared his affection for Oklahoma City and chose to stay there and compete alongside Russell Westbrook rather than go to a Los Angeles team. That's why seeing him request a trade to the Clippers came as somewhat of a surprise. Yes, OKC was in a tough spot: Honor George's trade request and rebuild in a tight Western Conference or decline to trade him and potentially end up with a disgruntled star (see 2018-19 Anthony Davis). Now, though, the Thunder are at risk of losing their franchise player in Westbrook.
Lol

All the rumblings are the DAR won’t be with the dubs long term. Idk about landing spots tho. Hadn’t even considered the Knicks as they hardly have assets (idk their draft pick situation I guess). Read Minnesota wants him and is a potential spot. He will prob look better playing alongside Curry tho so he may have more interest in a few months

You heard wrong, he doesn't move like a guard, he moves to guard the door so you cannot leave until he's done with you (allegedly).

"He was like a predator out there tonight" one game analyst was quoted...

Moving on to guys actually worth discussing,...Tacko! The boston bk's should be lining up to sponsor him.

Porzingis gotta be the most overrated player in the league at this point.

Lakers should have gotten Frank Jackson or NAW as a throw-in in the AD trade from NOLA.

Watching them in summer league, both of those guys might be able to start at PG for LAL, but are buried behind Jrue/Lonzo/Hart/JJ at the guard spots and won't see any PT this season. Would have been so cheap to get thrown in

Really pulling for Tacko

22 points on 10/13 and 3 blocks and 10 rebounds in 39 minutes of summer league time so far

let the man play!

I think Luca is going to be special. Porzee has shown flashes, but he's just been like a top 30 player at his peak and has never finished a season. Seems to be a giant douche who thinks too highly of himself as well based off the reddit stuff I read.

Meanwhile my king is waking up at 6AM every morning to clean up horse poop.

I think he's cool he's so normal, but I do wonder if he's going to eventually just hang it up OR stop trying to get better. I've been saying that since his second year or so when he could stagnate and still get a first-day max.

If they re-drafted the rookies right now where does Tacko go?

What you think Pelinka knows about fringe NBA players?

You have to have a real resume for him to have a clue who you are. Now Hinkie and the like would obv be gobbling up all them freerolls.

If Hibbert had touch he would still be in the league too.

Teams will always dig having a 10-12 min uber big if they can move just a bit.

I'm hearing reports of long autograph lines. This guy might be a legit draw that boosts attendence in the G League.

I think that's too many guys that are similarly good to the point where someone isn't going to be happy. I'm not sure of his perceived value to Minny, but I would like to see a trade of something like Plumlee/Beasley for Robert Covington...

decent 538 article. i dont agree with the most underpaid signings, (kemba #1? ya ok..) bc the methodology is not brilliant, but it did churn out a great most overpaid signings list:

Harrison Barnes, Portis, Ariza the top 3. I agree fully. Klay makes the list, but that's because (I assume) he's going to miss a huge amount of the year with the knee injury. (So it's not really an overpaid signing) Then Rondo and Scott.

It's a good list, funny to see SAC NYK SAC, because what else would we expect to see...

It's an interesting list, but also has Jimmy Butler worth $12m more than Kawhi this year.

538 ftw as usual.

Yea, I mean anything you read from them you kinda need to not commit to it 100% bc of stuff like that
