No, but seriously, I "don't like" Country - in some undereducated global sense. Undrafted standing by her man etc etc. (Ok, some of the cross over artists cross over to me w/e.) But I do see that there is a collection of musical ideas / genre / family resemblence that makes a whole. And while I'm not very keen on some of the key constituents, perhaps it's not for me to judge. (Obviously I do judge like crazy, but .. if we didn't we'ld all be effectively dead, so w/e)
Otoh "Adult Contemporary" doesn't seem to mean anything other than "this has been made so lacking in life and taste, and inoffensive to our target market" that it is in fact purely offensive without any redeeming features.
As this is my first "Adult Contemporary" experience I'ld be happy to have more information - particularly if I'm short changing the concept.
