Can’t help but think that Romero was a good bet, he’s gotta be 2x as strong as Izzy. If he gets ahold of him it’s game over.

Same time though, Yoel likes to pretend he’s not a world class wrestler and trade shots all night so we will see. Should be a pretty fun fight stylistically

He's pure muscle and 42, never really had much of a gas tank. Also lost 3 of his last 4 fights. Izzy just super hesitant to engage for whatever reason and it's allowing Romero to coast and steal rounds.

That fight sucked. I know for a while the commentators were trying to say people were just spoiled after seeing such a great fight previous but this fight was on the level of Ngannou vs Lewis.

Romero woke up 24 minutes and 53 seconds into the fight. Izzy never did much of anything. I think Romero might've won 3-2.

Israel needs to develop a jab, he clearly wanted to fight from the outside and i don't think i saw one jab thrown by him. Yoel should've also went after it more in the last round as he clearly had tonnes left in the tank after the fight, sigh.

I had romero by 1 or even two rounds. No idea how you get issy winning 4/5. I usually think leg kicks are undervalued by judges, not sure i've ever seen them scored as heavily as they must have been in this fight. Romero landed pretty much all of the significant punches even if Issy touched him more.

I love how Yoel stood in the same spot for 40 seconds of the first round and then has the balls to call out adesanya for not engaging. Bullshit fight all around.

Thank god the fight before made this PPV worth it.

I get pissed when the fans boo fighters working on the ground, this was different. What a shitty fight.
