Any thoughts on tonights card? Kinda excited to see Whittaker in action again, should be a good fight with him and Gastelum.

Feel like Stylebender should take care of Silva easily but everytime i feel like this it goes the other way. Wonder if Silva can roll back the years for one last run at the title.

Yeah, got my hopes up for that one. This is one of the worst PPV lineups of all time. Sure, it's not UFC 24 headlined by Tedd Williams vs Steve Judson but it's pretty damn bad.

How often is the UFC down under and he was ruled out 2 hours before the fight started.

Obviously a no brainer to keep the event going. It is just basically a fight night type of card now.

The card was already super thin to begin with is the issue, i'd assume people were coming mostly for Whittaker, i'd be really pissed if i paid $ for tickets.

In their statement UFC said you could get a refund due to the cancellation of the main event. Granted that doesnt cover the money fans spent on travel and accommodation.

Definately on board with Whittaker being the main attraction but I wonder how long til Stlyebender is the most popular fighter from that region.

Agree that this is a pretty bad card now. Outside of the now main event the only other fight on the main card im that interested in is Crute vs Alvey and thats only because I remember watching Crute on The Contender series when I had Fight Pass.

Yeah, maybe they do something for those in attendance. Might offer $ back as well. Although if you already planned to be there for 3-5 hours then not sure you are gonna take a refund.

As far as Whittaker goes, I do think he is the best MW still but he has only fought 1x since winning the title in July 2017. Always injured...Just isn't a ton going on at MW.

The only one close off the top of my head is Nunes pulled out of a fight against shevchenko the day of the fight. Not sure if that was the main even or not though.

**** this Young/Arnett fight ended up being a banger in some spots. Hope Young gets with 28-27 upset based on winning the 2nd and 3rd.

Scored the KD with 2 seconds left in the 3rd.

You do realize that he has a 0% chance of beating Israel or Costa, right? Did you see how he went tit for tat with Romero in a striking match? Both Costa and Israel knocks him out.

They need to strip him & Whittaker needs to take his sweet time to heal & think about the longevity of his career as he is only 28.
