UFC 223 went from the biggest event in a long time to a ish-show, smh. I feel for Khabib, dude worked hard & was suppose to be the champ tomorrow but now he won't even get to perform, ehh.

Why won't the commission let Felder fight Khabib? Because he isn't ranked high enough? Who cares?

I don't understand that

McGregor can fight Mayweather in boxing though.

The UFC should've went with Ortega on 6days notice like i said, better matchup, the guy just fought 4weeks ago & isn't injured & would've made weight. Ortega was 164lbs, fully rehydrated in the cage for his fight with Edgar, he's probably not even 170lbs right now & would've made weight easy. Going with an injured Max who was probably 175-180lbs made no sense on 6days notice, the UFC also had Gaeje & Porier who have a fight scheduled in like a week or two from now who are in the division, highly ranked & in shape. Mcgregor antics aside, the UFC botched how they handled the Ferguson replacement.

Agree. Ortega would have been a good fight. Now everything is FUBAR.

Does anyone know why they didn't ask Ortega? He was their 2nd choice a week ago, and he accepted then. I imagine he would still be good to go. Even though it's extremely last minute, why not give Ortega a shot?

Don't really blame Pettis if the $ was gonna be the same. Just fight Chiesa in a month or two. No need to get pounded by Khabib for 5 rounds.

They wanted khabib vs unranked guy for the title? I know they wannz save the card (or whats left of it) but c'mon.. i agree with this one. They idd should have went with ortega

ok, I'm just a casual MMA these days and see this was in retaliation to khabib cornering his teammate earlier, but that obv doesn't justify throwing **** into a bus window and injuring people, esp since it was simply the red corner bus. Nick Diaz instantly knew what was up ofc and you know he was laughing "can't expect not to get rolled up on lolz" and "you stayed on the bus" shots.

Those three groups man, all thug groups who hate each other.

have a pal flying in for this and feel bad for him since it's nowhere near the card he wanted to see but I'm just gonna ask him if he can make 155.

When you're as rich as Conor you don't do stuff like this. He has opened himself up to multiple lawsuits. Dana must be rip**** that they lost Tony and then this. Meanwhile Vince Mchamhon must be giddy, the wrestlemania card on sunday is first one I've seen in a long time that looks good.

I don't think WWE/UFC are really in competition anymore. I think 3-10 years ago they were in competition for PPV dollars but since WWE PPV is just WWE network now that isn't really the case anymore.

You're right they indirectly compete, but def 2 different fanbases. Dana said the reason they don't compete years ago in their early days Dana scheduled a UFC thing on same night as a WWF thing. To counteract this Vince paid the scheduled UFC announcer 100k or something to not go, ****ing them over.

Ortega isn't even in Brooklyn, hence, not possible. Atleast we get to see Ortega vs Max in July like it was suppose to be.

The crazy thing is that as a talent, Raging Al is actually a brutal last second replacement for anybody, don't be surprised if he beats Khabib tomorrow night. Al-Iquinta isn't known but he comes from a good camp & if it wasn't for the fact that he's a crazy guy & doesn't work well with the UFC he probably would be top 5 at lightweight already. I'm not too excited about the main event, clearly, but i'm not that shocked if Khabib loses as he wasn't preparing for raging Al.

Raging Al has wins over Kevin Lee, Ross Pearson, Diego Sanchez & Masvidal, the main event will have no hype behind it, Khabib does fight for the Title, however, i'm not sure his management should've taken this fight with Al last minute. The style matchup is so much different between Raging Al & Ferguson, Al can possible beat Ferguson, i really hope Khabib doesn't lose & the UFC takes another loss but the writings are on the wall.

Just posed by the UFC, if Mcgregor gets jail time for this i'd be surprised & pissed. He did something dumb but the injuries weren't as bad as they claimed, Harry Reid, Borg & Chiesa looked fine from that video. hopefully Mcgregor pays a few mill in fees, gets community service or something & we move along.

If the dolly bounces off the window instead of breaking it then the whole situation is totally different. That Reed guy that works for the UFC and on the bus in that video tweeting yesterday that he thought they were gonna die seems to have been making the most of it.

Thank you for this. Al has some of the most sophisticated striking in MMA and while his odds are low he is definitely not drawing dead. Search up some of his finishes, they are uber spectacular.

Please don't be Conor stupid here. The other side of the coin is the dolly goes straight through the window and kills someone. Very lucky no one lost an eye as it was.

You make a good point. How could McGregor know that throwing a large hunk of metal at glass would break the glass?
