Seeing as this is his 12th or 20th public ****up, he doesn't get any "wait and see what the B sample is" from me. USADA is trustworthy imo and the odds this is just some freak false positive are super low.
And Cormier was the one getting booed at recent press conferences.

Is Jones' mma career over? probably getting a 2 year suspension for this drug test fail. UFC could definitely justify cutting him given his drug history and RL legal trouble rap sheet.

DC does have a ****ty personality. Jones for all his flaws does come off as likable in interviews and at press conferences.

DC really doesn't.

His career definitely isn't over but no shot he ever fights for the UFC again

No shot? really?

Would make him a decent fav to fight again in the UFC.

In 2 years, I doubt the new owners care that he screwed the old owners. They will just be seeing dollar signs.

Bones is the GOAT.

Dana and the Fertittas would just hold his contract forever (Hi Wanderlei)

No idea what a new ownership group is going to think though.

putting JBJ on any card makes them a lot of money, so they'll def do it

also it sounds like CHINA might buy the whole thing soon, and i really doubt they hold any resentment towards him

JBJ comes off like a ****ing psychopath trying to be normal because he's a ****ing psychopath trying to be normal. I've been wanting him to go full Black Hat for years. The Baddest Mother****er Alive has always sold.

DC is kind of a dork lacking in charisma and wit but he comes off as earnest and a competitor.

I figure he's more of a sociopath than anything. The way the guy gets into all this self-inflicted **** then sits there at a press conference crying painting himself as the victim each time is so disgusting

The guy was talking about god's plan for him after he smoked weed or did blow or whatever it was, hit a pregnant woman with a car then ran away as if he's just the unluckiest guy ever who can't believe he gets thrown in these situations

**** him

Well I'd trust you (and whatever team of mental health professionals evaluated you) to know the difference.

Alvarez/RDA about to start

RDA was going to headline a top 5 PPV buy in UFC history, now he is on fight night probably making a fraction of the money.

**** yes Alvarez, thats the guy I remember from Bellator. love seeing him in big fights.

Silva official, Tate/Nunez is now the main event. Is silva getting a title shot?

Was RDA one of the people on TRT?? He looked pretty bad in this fight.

I would think Silva would be getting a title shot because Cormier has been training for 5 rds but not sure.

RDA looks like he does more than drink water but I don't think he was a TRT guy. The TRT ban came before his title reign.

RDA looked bad after he got caught by that hook. He wasn't all there after he chicken legged. If he was Alvarez might have been in trouble when it went to the ground briefly.

Quote from Silva

Quote:
I think I haven’t trained in a few months, so now I have to go out there and put on a good fight.
Seems like an absolutely mad decision to fight someone as good as Cormier on effectively no notice. Probably a combination of massive ego and the promise of an equally large pay-cheque. He's doing a remarkably thorough job of damaging his legacy.

so why is Cormier so upset and that his training was for nothing? is he getting less money?

this feud with Jones is intensely personal to DC. idiot fans from the one fight a year casuals to the most hardcore have called him a worthless paper champion and now he can't prove that he isn't. also if they didn't find a new opponent for him he'd probably have lost his cut of the PPV revenue because, well, he wouldn't be on the show anymore.
