Cowboy/Connor would do huge business. Connor/anyone would right now but Cowboy has a nice following and could match the trash talk too....

Because Conor is a bigger favorite over Frankie than he'd be over RDA (against whom he's likely a dog). Conor isn't stupid when it comes to his career, once he loses, his earning potential takes a huge hit. He's much more likely to lose if he steps up to RDA or Khabib than he would've been against Cowboy.

There is this cruel level of combatant where you're basically a gate keeper and always good enough to deserve a title shot but never good enough to win one.

Cowboy seems to fall squarely in that level. That's a real shame because Cowboy seems like an amazingly easy guy to cheer for and an all-around cool guy.

The cowboy stoppage by herb Dean was terrible. Cowboy was defending himself. Rafael looked up at the ref asking for the stoppage and got it. It was close any way but with cowboy blocking all punches with his hand and walking away, it was bad.
