No, you! A hypocrite like Girardi. Yanks probably win today Sev vs Framber, which will just set up Astros clinching game 5 in NYC.

ALCS presented by Loan Depot. I guess that is better than having airlines instead of team names on jerseys.

Striking out is awesome! But hey we hit hr when we play bad teams so keep running it back. This is a good approach that has been successful

MOAR strikeouts! Really clutch strikeouts from the Yankees tonight! I heard it helps if guys are on base when you hit HR. But let's keep rolling out these guys who can't make contact bc aNalYtiCs

Yankees haven't had an elite rotation for a while. Every postseason it's not pitching that hurts them it's ****ing striking out over and over again and not hitting

Holy **** watching these Yankees strike out over and over is freaking excruciating. I've never seen anything like it. So terrible.

Altuve 0-24 in the postseason and the Astros haven't lost a game yet.

54 outs for the Yankees, 30 of them strikeouts. Seems bad.

Dude you always post the most obvious crap, throw in some LOL ANALYTICS and act like you have some great insight.

Their two best contact hitters (who would be starting) are DJLM and Benintendi who are both injured. You want a whole team of IKF (who is bad at offense and mediocre at defense) or what? The team is what it is.

Judge's shot to wall made me say **** off the bat, but that was the end of the series. Gg, ge.

Not worried about them, worried about Pressley being a lock to blow a save at some point here or in the WS. Going to watch the NL game tomorrow before making the 4th or 5th bet.

In before Coletrain blows it in game 7 on short rest. I’m sorry sorry I kid I don’t think the Yanks make it to seven so no worries.

I think Astros will win in 6 before getting upset by the NL team again.

Yankees really missing Benintendi, DJLM, Michael King, and a healthy Carpenter.

Pads and Phils are both scary, but I don't think they are wins in the playoffs good.

Nope. I'd like to prioritize guys who can make contact and maybe even get on base to complement the 2 or 3 power hitters we have in our lineup (Judge and Stanton). Year after year we rationalize guys who strikeout a million times because they hit home runs. It doesn't work in the postseason. Yea the Astros hit home runs, they also have competitive at bats and put balls in play. They had TWO guys on or their lone HR tonight and it was the difference in the game. The Yankees, after years of this ineptitude and obvious flaw in this logic, which was absolutely justified bc analytics, they actually went out and acquired Joey Gallo who is the biggest culprit of non-competitive at bats. But he hits home runs! They haven't learned and thing and they are still hiding behind analytics to do the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.

I realize they blew it but I’d be more scared if the $300M Fraudgers where still in it.

This! You don’t get walk off 3 run homers like the Stros if you don’t have guys on base, really basic. Maybe the Yankees finally get a new GM out of this.

Astros are 5-0 and they've almost entirely scored on home runs

Even last night they got a 3 run homer the Yankees didn't

The end

I mean yea I agree getting Gallo was a joke

Honestly I think the olds think strikeouts are way worse than they are the the analytics people think they don't matter at all which also makes no sense

If strikeouts are great for pitchers they have to be bad for hitters and theres a happy medium in there somewhere.

Nobody is saying the Yankees are better than Houston. By the same token it's a tad bit easier hitting Taillon than Verlander.

It's is funny how narratives work-.

Win 1-0 in 18 innings or 3-2 on a 3 run home run and nobdoy complains

If instead they lose 1-0 in 18 innings and lose 6-3 hitting a 3 run homer it would be the Astros can't manufacture runs Altuve is 0 for 24 blah blah blah

Framber is the definition of a professional pitcher at this point. He never loses focus or composure, which allows his very good but not great stuff to play up a tick.

A lot of guys would have come unglued after that double error last night. But he was completely unfazed.

Btw the Yankees were 13th in the league in strikeouts.

Cleveland was dead last in strikeouts

How did they hit these playoffs?

Terrible in 6 of their 7 games.

Does anyone think those pesky Guardians would have hit Verlander or Valdez?
