Or it's because Boesch's BABIP is .387 while Heyward's is .316.
Or maybe it's because Heyward is 20yo who, in three teenage seasons, had a .900 OPS in the minors while Boesch is a 25yo who in 5 seasons (21-25) of MiL ball put up a whopping .753 OPS including a .319 OBP.

I'm sure he'll be able to continue to BABIP way better than Ichiro though.

I mean it's really not even that close. Boesch is producing far better.

Meh, even if Boesch's BABIP drops to a normal range, he'll still have a pretty solid average and a lot of power. He was King a lot more and never walking in the beginning of the season, but he's done a better job lately. I'm hopeful.

I'm not intested in doing a 15 year prop bet, look at their ****in minor league career numbers, and boesch had a worse bb/k ratio then francouer did.

Look at francouers first season, even he hit his first year, and pitchers learned how to get him out since. boesch will be the same ****in thing, but even worse, hackers never win.

The Jays have someone equal to Boesch named JP Arencibia, another hacker, probably with more power then Boesch. But the Jays have chosen not to rush him.

If anyone knows that would be great but every baseball fan i asked never really could give me an answer. We all know when it comes to baseball contracts are weird you can be the best rookie ever and only get 400,000 for like 4 years before you can get a decent payday. I was wonder about the signing bonus though for the first year player draftees. When they sign there bonus do they get it right away or do they get it yearly hows it work. So my question is how do the players end up getting there signing bonus.

Does anyone who isn't ******ed have any plausible theories that they'd like to put forth for the Angels lucksack v Pythag. Mine currently revolves around Jedi powers, but I'm unsure that other team's perform worse in the clutch v the Angels which is an important aspect of the Battle Meditation power of the Jedi.

NB: I obv means theories other than by far the most obvious one: luck.

Wheelbarrows of cash.

Serious answer: they get the signing bonus up front, when they sign the contract, hence the term.

This is why only the elite prospects get really sizable signing bonuses.

Good high leverage pitching for them and terrible high leverage pitching for the rest of the division?

"They didn't bring Strasburg up because he's a nice guy. They brought him up because he's a big talent. He has a chance to be an unbelievable pitcher and he's won two games already.

Take all that clubhouse **** and all that, throw it out the window. Every writer in the country has been writing about that **** for years. Chemistry don't mean ****. He's up here because he's good. That don't mean ****. They got good chemistry because their team is improved, they got a real good team, they got guys knocking in runs, they got a catcher hitting .336, they got a phenom pitcher they just brought up. That's why they're happy."
