Impressive run at the end. They were dead and beat glubb and Leipzig among others to retain this chance.

Sporting Gijon survive. Rayo and Getafe go down with Levante. Sad to see Rayo go. Fun club and a Madrid visit is on my list.

Benfica wins it's third title in a row. 21 wins in the last 22 games to clinch the league.
I'll be back later to post pictures of the biggest celebration none of you care about

I'm glad that buffoon Jemez got relegated, last year the press was asking him if he would like to coach Barcelona/RM/the spanish NT. rofl

Another amazing year, 35th title, third in a row and a great CL campaign.
I miss league games already, luckily we have an EuroCup this year.

We won 2-0 in Munich (against 1860) and will face Hoffenheim in the U19 title game. I think that's the third title game for Hoffenheim in a row. Lol at the haters at least they have a solid youth system.

Interestingly I think we were the first team that had footbonauts and Hoffenheim also has them. Might be pretty useful for younger players to spend some time in them. We use them primarily for the youth teams but the pros can use them as well of course

All the talk is either Moyes or Rodgers to be our next manager.

Expecting Malkay Makay or Owen Coyle to be unveiled any day now (I won't be back if it is).

Surely you wouldn't go near Malkay?

Obviously I personally wouldn't but the decision makers might like someone cheap and nasty.

I think there'll be a riot if he gets the job. Think he has been interviewed tho I'm hoping that is just Internet nonsense.

Yeah I can't imagine any of the Celtic fans I know being anything other than MADE if he were to get it.

As for Moyes/Rodgers I guess that'll pretty much come down to how much money they're given to spend. Think Brent could actually do quite well.

My preference is Moyes....apparently he thinks we're a last 16 CL team and wants to cement that.

That's an ambition I can get behind.

Pizarro (the sicko) has renewed with Werder Bremen for one year.

Pretty standard squad Jogi assembled again, right?

Poldi, Schürrle and Götze all in it. Also Gomez and Schweinsteiger. Khedira showed in 2014 it can work out to take an injured guy on. You cannot really tell Schweini to **** off if there's a chance he's fit in time.

I expect Brandt to be deleted before the tourney (I think 4 players can't go to France) for Olympia and maybe also Weigl and Sané. Weigl is a nice and well-deserved call-up after this season. He's been consistently great.

There are threads for all the EURO groups. I suggest we keep the discussion there.

I guess you're right you can't tell Schweinsteiger to stay home if he's "fit". He could have done himself a favour, though, making his crazy, warrior-like performance of the final in 2014 his last match. He could learn something from Der Übermensch in that regard.
