So a striker goes trough a bad season(happens to pretty much everbody at some point) and then boom u outright would kick him out of the squad?

We all know he has the quality to be a big improvement to the manchester united squad.
A big strenght of Manchester is the deepness of their squad.
Todays game is the best example!

Even so the missed Rooney, Berbatov, Scholes, Anderson, Hargreaves, Vidic, Ferdinand, Brown(?) they still had a pretty decent squad available.

In my opinion you need at least 3 good, proven strikers if you play in as many competitions as manu do.

Benitez has to take blame if they wont win the premiership this season.
Liverpool only has 1 1/2 real proven strikers(Torres + Kuyt) which cannot be enough if you play fa cup/championsleague as well

His loan deal is up at the end of the season so it's a pretty big decision whether you want to pay up and keep him as a third striker or trust your youth system and let Welbeck and Fraizer Campbell take over.

Carlos is a fan favorite, someone who you can tell loves playing for Manchester United yet it is a business at the end of the day and Gill and Fergie are going to make business decisions

Well if we owned him then of course I wouldn't dump him, but we don't, he's on loan from some sports management firm type situation and the guy who "owns" Tevez wants £30m for him. And this season he has not been a £30m player as deezy said.

Ya but i dont think Welbeck or Fraizer Campbell are ready yet to take such a big roll in the team(I might be wrong i dont know them that well). I see them as being on a pretty simiar point of development as Vela for Arsenal and Di Santo for Chelsea.

Therefore for me the decision would be either keeping Tevez or dropping him and replace him by a similiar quality player who would be tough to find and probably not really cheaper
If they can sort out the weird loan situation keeping Tevez will probably be the best solution for Manchester and Tevez.

£30m is a bit too much so

yeah, standard typical united, get outplayed for 80 minutes then have some random kid who'll be in serie B/at sunderland/only ever playing in the carling cup in five years time hit a wondergoal to win it

That's not a fact, it's not even close:

Thanks for the "fyp" even though it was not needed.

Maybe because he's also the dirtiest player in the league (86 fouls committed so far).

Fletcher was awesome today. Just thought i'd mention that. my god so ****ing happy. My gran came in when we were watching it and she nearly got bowled over with the celebrations.

cant remember the last time i celebrated a goal like that one. Really thought the season hinged on todays game, another loss would have been catastrophic, but the high after this game will hopefully bring the confidence and the form back.

If I wasn't sitting in my cubicle watching Gamecast and reading this thread i'm pretty sure everybody in within 3 blocks would have heard me
