Why does everyone miss this?

Because it could also be a lot better

Everybody thinks that...well most do, but the same could happen to us as to United when Fergie went working on a horsefarm

Can combine a trip to the stadium with Swedish Meatballs for not-a-lot-of-money as well. Let the good times roll.

Honestly, though, if I were a Spurs fan I'd be very happy with that development. Looks nice, great capacity and seems like a decent business plan is in place for recouping costs as well.
Hard to criticise too much, iyam.

That's another reason why placing out of the top 4 isn't that bad - we haven't been proper challengers in CL the recent years.
These wenger out people are hilarious it's going to be the exact same as us after Fergie left. Wenger has worked wonders to get top 4. Every single year while losing his best players to rivals.

Since the GOAT retired, we've spent 1/2 a billion and still are no where near challengers in the league and still a dog for top 4!! Despite having an elite manager. Arsenal fans seem to think they should have this right as being challengers. No one has a right to be challengers.

Grass is always greener.

I fell alseep before the match started. Just caught up. Cracking performance from Spurs. Will be interesting to see how teams approach Chelsea from this point forward as they still don't have a clear weakness.

I'm not a Wenger out person. You think Wenger shouldn't be sacked if we fail to make top 4 this year?
01-04-2017 , 09:29 PM
FA Cup Sweep - I'm in if there is an easyway for an American to pay you.

Hope Wenger stays.

No.

Only 4 can make it. Wenger, Klopp, Pep, Conte, Poch, Jose that's a pretty damn elite list of managers. Neither of them should be sacked if they fail to make top 4.

I'm a Wenger out person.

Spoiler:
Then Arsenal employ Eddie Howe and stay exactly where they are, and Bournemouth rand some coach and have a decent chance to be next season's krill .. and an abundent supply of that is all I really want
01-04-2017 , 09:58 PM
otoh this is a definite + for Wenger-in

terrible luck for Bolasie/Everton - out for up to 12 months per radio reports - looked really good with Big Rom vs us early in the season.

I read some of the "what's your wish for the winter 2017 transfer window" thread. I have no idea really what, as a WBA supporter, I would want. We're doing fine this season so far - much, much worse than the 6/7 teams better than us, but - touch wood - reasonably better than basically everyone else. [Meh - except +/- on a level with Bournemouth, Stoke and probably West Ham.]

Should I really hope we outbid Everton and sign Morgan Schneiderlin? Is he that much of an upgrade on Darren Fletcher and Claudio Yacob?

Yeah, sure, we should stock up on back-up full-backs and centre-backs, but I don't see anything else imperative.

But let's play "bought by wastrels".

Suppose you could insert one player into a mid-table team (excluding CR, Bale and MSN) like West Brom (or Stoke, etc, ..) for maximum impact. Who would you choose and how much difference (in points) would it make?

And how bout the big game choker chris eriksen with two truly GOAT crosses? He and Dele are on fire right now. I hope someone bet on him vs Coutinho for scorepoints.

Not talked about much, but one of the best parts for me was winning this game with Kane being **** and Dembele doing very little. We had a variety of players that could step up out there (and son on the bench). Lamela should be back for the next game too.

What you just posted is something that I kind of wonder from time to time. What does buying someone like Schneiderlin truly do for you (outside of getting a fantastic player)? Say the current top 6 win the two cups, do you really want that push into 7th to get an EL spot? If there was more general fluidity for european spots, I could completely see it. But, would someone like that truly matter for a team in your current position? Clubs like Southampton, Everton, and West Ham I could see that argument for as they've made european pushes in the past and have generally positioned themselves for that. But, what is it worth for a West Brom or Stoke?

I hope that doesn't come off condescending as that isn't the intention, just that your post got me thinking about that again.

Kinda weird how Coutinho's not had scorepoints lately.
01-05-2017 , 12:27 AM
I just checked and Liverpools shot accuracy has actually gone down since Coutinho got injured. Nice of the rest of the team to pay homage to him like that
