Solid win from spurs last night in all honesty. Id imagine the feeling of relief for finishing 5th on the last day won't match that of blowing the title but it will be a nice weight of their shoulders nonetheless.

Dele Alli's vertical leap is worth a mention. Can't believe the committee vetoed him.

You seem confused. It is Mr Levy who is blessed, with a fan base happy to pay top dollar to lick his balls whilst trapped in Europa League purgatory.

We both agreed towards the end of last season that we wouldn't be renewing this time as the experience was simply no longer enjoyable. Being surrounded by miserable, aggressive idiots who insult and berate the players they claim to support just ground us down in the end. I've no idea why Ross Barkley in particular hasn't handed in a transfer request yet, as he gets murdered by the majority of the home fans every time he fails to beat 3 men and score a wonder goal. It's no coincidence that Everton had such rotten home form last season!

So yeah, I gave up being a loyal Everton fan because I don't like being surrounded by Everton fans.
I can relate to this.

I'm as working class as they come. Grandad was a coal miner, dad is a bus driver. I am not offended by a bit of spicy language and I don't think it's a big deal even in front of the kids. But some of the stuff you hear is disgusting and maddening. Football has made some strides against it but the fact is that if you attend any match in the country, you're pretty likely to hear some racism and/or homophobia over the course of your visit.

When you add in rip off prices, even though I go myself, I think the smart choice is not to.

I've been to Anfield 3 times and as I'm not a season ticket holder in 3 different seats. One was in the Anfield Road end 6 rows behind the goal. I was with like families and grandmas. It was Arsenal at home on opening day and it was very calm in my section. No slagging off players, no singing or anything either. Had to look across in awe at the Kop for that. We were also sat right next to the away support which I have to admit got a laugh out of me on more than one occasion. I don't think they were particularly nice by any means but I was impressed with the noise they made and some of their songs/banter.

2nd was a the 2nd row from the top of the Kop. Could barely see the field but it was an awesome time. It was a drab game against an awful Peter Odemiwinge West Brom that Torres rescued a 1-0 late from, but the Kop was in full voice the entire time. Singing, cheering, slagging off opposing players, which I enjoyed, and I'm sure occasionally our own, but it was not overwhelming.

Last game I went to was Manchester United and sat in the Anfield Road end but further up in a semi-obstructed seat. This was by far the worst experience I've had attending any football match, and the one where I can relate to LO. From the beginning this miserable **** behind us was just bashing the entire team, the manager. My buddy I went with and I still have a running joke as this gentleman was saying "they should have played a four four ****ing two" for the entire first half before clamoring to bring Steven Gerrard on at about the 20 minute mark. When they finally did bring Gerrard on at halftime and he was sent off 30 seconds later this same genius was loudly questioning the move "why the **** did he bring Gerrard on?!"

To be fair it was one person and there were plenty of people in our section giving him dirty looks and moaning under their breath about him, but I could see how being sat next to that same **** every single week would make me give up my season ticket, at least in that seat as well. If at Goodison it's entire sections of that then I totally get why LO would not want to go anymore

God old Garth Crooks thinks he's just discovered a new world class player, Eden Hazard.

That's because Shearer had said recently that Sanchez was the only world class player in the PL.

My mistake, knew he'd said there was only one.

Patter like that and he'll never get a gig with sky.

He clearly doesn't think goalkeepers are players.

Championship followers I need a little sweat today. Is taking a Burton/Villa parlay an awful idea?
12-29-2016 , 03:45 PM
I think the Villa game will be close, with not many goals. I've gone for less than 1.5 goals (3.0 on Betfair) and Leeds to win (4.2 on Betfair).

Don't follow the bottom half closely enough to have a strong opinion on the other game. Think there might be a few goals in it though.
12-29-2016 , 03:47 PM
I took it at 4:1 for the hell of it. Leeds DNB -128 was prob the better play to mix with Burton the parlay
12-29-2016 , 03:54 PM
Good luck!

Sometimes better that way. I like my bets (obviously) but what I need to scoop is for this to stay 0-0 into the second half and for Leeds to grab a late-ish winner. Rooting for no goals isn't tonnes of fun. I'll be flicking between the darts though, so I don't mind too much.
12-29-2016 , 03:59 PM
I'm on Leeds aswell. My sweat for tonight is a part of my treble: Leeds or draw, Man U -1.5 and Chelsea v Stoke u3.5 at 4:1

So remember a day or two ago when Nasri had his twitter hacked and posted some bizarre stuff about IV drips and prostitutes then claimed he was hacked?

Quote:
Sevilla midfielder Samir Nasri is being investigated by the Spanish Anti-Doping Agency (AEPSAD) over treatment he received at a Los Angeles clinic.
The drip given to Nasri, 29, may break World Anti-Doping Agency (Wada) rules.

Those damn hackers
