Glad Cashy made contact. I like him and his posting and was confident he'd come good
08-04-2016 , 08:41 AM
Knew CASHY was good for it. He is one of the few remaining old guys.
08-04-2016 , 08:51 AM
"good for it"
he donked away/cashed out the ****ing prize pool
08-04-2016 , 08:54 AM
Yeah, it's nice that he's not a total scumbag, but the point of an escrow is having the money sit in an account to be released when event X happens.

Btw Bandz was online a couple of times in the secret euro chat and told me that as soon as he has the money he is going to pay. That is now ongoing for the 2nd year. I knew he was good for it...

Yeah lolling at all the praising. Not sure what alternate universe were living in now

In a similar vein made my first FOOTY bet.

City clears pool by 9 pts. Pool finishes within 9 I lose. 9 obv push

Let the lol PLOP commence

I'm at the point where I'm ready to run the IKTS since no one else seems to want to. The only payment I can take is Paypal though, which I have payments that get automatically taken out monthly from. I guess I'd have to get all the payments, withdraw the money in cash, stick it in a drawer and redeposit and distribute once the season is over? There has to be an easier way

After last week being set back 'a few days', Jack has been omitted from the squad for this weekend's games. Starting to think he might have fitness issues tbh

Other guy that might not be hugely well known who could have a huge year that wasn't an xfer is bertrand traore. Conte seems ready to play him a lot.

lol at praise. Not what's happening
08-04-2016 , 10:46 AM
Yea I'm just glad he had the balls to PM somebody and be honest and show intentions to pay the money back. It's still completely inexcusable it's taken this long and he should feel bad

Once upon a time, not too long ago, we took a day out in Manchester...

I wasn't there on this occassion but whilst it is long, this article gives a fair summary of the sort of treatment you get as a football fan at times:

Reminds of of the Seinfeld episode where Jerry had a rental car reservation and the agent said they had his reservation, but didn't have a car. The whole point of an escrow...

I like cashy, he's an interesting poster and I'd like to have him back if he ends up coughing up the funds that are owed. That said, I'm clearly biased as I'd have released the hounds long ago if it were someone else.

Busy is super irrelevant when its money in a holding account for xyz reason.

If 20% of the field paid Stars and rest paid paypal, and everyone who won wanted Stars maybe I guess.

Fortunately being exiled i avoid any issues we might have if we're doing the trip the other way, as I'd use Euston (which would be equally crap at handling crowds I think) instead of St Pancras. Wonder if the Met can find a way to make me miss my 1940 train back after Millwall in a couple of weeks?

It's ridiculous that he doesnt have the money, looks like he used it/gambled it, this is pretty much theft. Exactly what tdomeski did

If you're lucky they'll make you miss the one on the way there.

Amazing how many degenerates there are.

In the future we should allow escrows to keep ~5% of pot or a free entry or something but have set terms for when the money is expected for repayment. Real name Facebook profile address email etc should be provided to 1 or 2 people as insurance
