I like cashy a lot, that said I would have liked a msg or two in the thread that say "guys I ****ed up, for X reasons and I'll have the money by Y time". OAFK is most likely right about the assessment that his ego gets in the way but I want to see confirmation of this diagnosis by Elrazor cause clearly he is the only one qualified to talk about the subject due to his education.

Also there is little to no excuse afterwards. Answering a pm takes 4seconds, I would go as far as saying it would have been OK(all things considered) to let the winners know of the situation and tell them that he will pay them with a delay due to him ****ing up. Not saying anything for weeks, months and then a "lol superbusy, pay later k thnx bye" is not enough and cashy (even if he pays- I hope he will) should get some stick for it + not be trusted with money ever again.

He didn't borrow the money, instead it was given to him with the intention it just rest in his account.

Maybe I wasn't clear. 'Irresponsible at best' means that in the best case scenario involving Cashy paying back we can still conclude that he has been extremely irresponsible. Worst case is he doesn't pay back in which case he is a busto scammer P.O.S. My point is that jumping to the worst case conclusion this early is unhelpful as a) Cashy has stated he will be paying the money back and b) being openly abusive probably makes it less likely he pays the money back.

Lots of his actions - seemingly just completely spaffing his money away on Stars, unresponsiveness - are consistent with somebody going through a really rough time, if he makes good*, he should be cut some slack.

What is the time frame on him paying back and still being a good person? Like if he pays it back 10 years from now surely he's still a P.O.S busto scumbag just a slightly lesser one.

Considering it is quite a small amount of money, I'd say next pay check minimum or whenever he is able to, whichever comes earliest
