i guess the pessimism is coming from us sticking with the lamps gerrard cm despite better options all those years, but those blokes were busy leading their sides to CL & PL titles while scoring 20 a season, they had pfa player of the year consideration year after year etc, leaving them out was hard

fat wayne is busy leading his team to 6th place no cups while scoring like 9 goals. as a striker. every mun fan you speak to thinks he's **** and all the tv pundits are saying he should be dropped and that kane must start

look i wont be knocked over sideways if he starts and woy mumbles something about needing his expearllience in the xi or some bollocks, but i think its unlikely

Didn't woy say in the last year he basically wouldn't drop Rooney as he was the captain?
03-23-2016 , 06:47 PM
Kane has been outperforming Rooney for some time now. If Rooney does start then the simple question that Roy needs to answer is.

Show your work Roy

thierry welbecky, vardy, kane, sturridge

rooney should be closer to "not in the squad" than the starting XI
03-23-2016 , 07:47 PM
Rooney in for Welbeck if Sturridge is fit enough.
03-23-2016 , 07:50 PM
Woy should have been sacked ages ago. It pains me to say it but the Liverpool fans were right. He is an utter dinosaur and talks arse.
03-23-2016 , 07:51 PM
Won't matter who starts, still coming home early.

LOL at taking both Daniel Sicknotedge and Thierry Sicknoty, should always be one or the other.

Arsenal homerisms tho

Sturridge > Wellbeck obv

Plus Kane can play Wellbeck's role as LF

Shocked that Welbeck has actually played 92 mins
03-23-2016 , 08:04 PM
stats dont lie

The only thing Welbeck is consistently good at is being average and injured.

Kane is a world superstar

He's been surprisingly good this season. He usually polarizes and gets talked about a lot for better or worse. Not much talk this year. Pretty much just solid and steady.

Would be quite funny to see a guy who can't make it in the team for Everton, start for England at the Euros. I'm assuming Stones just get in there cause of reputation/potential but if you want to look at performances only, despite having his moments, he's been shocking this season. Does not deserve to be anywhere near the starting XI at euros

Walker GOAT PL TOTS shoe-in > Belolerin/Clyne/Cedric/DANNY SIMPSON

I thought we already had this discussion

I'm new to the lol Roy hodgson but if he doesn't start Kane out front for the euros good ****ing lord. I'm excited to watch all the Spurs guys play for England even if the matches are meaningless just don't get hurt.

John McDermott, our head of coaching & development, gave a talk at a college in the US. One of the attendees made some detailed notes and wrote it up:

A really, really good read.

United were after him as recently as January this year, and you can see why.

Thanks for posting that

Yeah it really is a fascinating read. And Poch seems to be by far the best manager he's worked with!
03-24-2016 , 03:57 AM
Redknapp, Sherwood, Ramos and AVB were the others tho.

He isn't the first and won't be the last that gets selected on something other than his ability/form if that's the case. Look at Rooney.
