I have limited knowledge though, you may know better.
That's how Dyche likes his wide players to play, I hesitate to call them wingers. The real width comes from the fullbacks.

It's been a pretty successful formula (in the Championship at least).

I wouldn't entertain playing him in central midfield, it was a big weakness of ours in the PL last season.

Yep, I loved when he moved to Villa in 98 and before playing a game for them decided he couldn't be arsed with the commute.

true story: David Unsworth once won me £520 when I mistakenly backed him at 25/1 to score first against Fulham (Moyes' first game in charge!) having marked the wrong box on a new-fangled Ladbrokes quick-slip.

I once was a ball boy and I ******edly threw the ball into the pitch at the wrong time and I had to go get the ball from the pitch so that kinda wasted time and the home team won 1-0. They ended up winning the league. So I kinda won them the league.

True story.

Franny moving to Arsenal is up there with the WOAT transfer decisions (from player's POV)

I still say he could have been special. It wasn't just his small sample heater in the Everton first team, the whole community was buzzing about him and consensus among all the in the know crew who watched training sessions and talked to teammates was he was the real deal, almost Rooney or Barkley levels of hype for such a young kid. I guess a fair argument is that if he had true star quality he'd have broken through at Arsenal anyway, but he gave up semi-regular first team football at a mid-table club for a fat salary to warm the bench at the Invincibles, right at the crucial point of his development, and spewed his chance away.
