early days but looks like this replacement ball is swinging a lot more than the old one

i do not like this rule where you can change the ball if it gets a little bit out of shape

Just wondering you England supporters I think you would agree it is a win to Australia if we bat to day 4 and take the win as a result out of the game if it grinds down Anderson and Broad since you guys don't have much fast bowling back up?

certainly, and i regret england not taking a similar approach

hazelwood has been injured on and off for two years and we should've made him bowl 30 overs in that first innings, or alternatively put pressure on green and his bad back

bairstow with a missed stumping and a basic missed catch, team is so much better with foakes in the team instead of any one of crawley/duckett/stokes

Imo Bairstow should open. Drop Crawley or Duckett. Folkes should play. Also pick best hope young spinner instead of Ali

Dont declare. Most of all dont enforce that follow on against NZ.

This is what I’ve been saying. Not sure who it was rofling at me up thread about how runs are more important from a wicket keeper in the modern game but missed chances are prohibitively costly way too often. And it’s not as if England has a top 6 that all average close to 50. There’s clear weak links in their batting line up

I dont understand the decision on Bairstow at all. If it was natural then it's arguable but he tries so hard while wasting so much energy on something he is clearly never going to be good enough at.

The keeping position can be debated (personally I think Foakes is unlucky but it's not unreasonable to leave him out), but surely we can all agree that Khawaja is the worst runner between the wickets since Inzaman. OK, maybe he doesn't run as many people out but sheesh he's shocking.
