Worked out the correct stat. Jack Leach is the third SPIN bowler …

yes, that makes more sense. (spinner, 40 years).

I only watched the highlights but how many catches did Joe Root drop? must have been 5 or more? Shameful stuff. Send him out to deep square.

I'm glad Pope is finally scoring a few - he really does look classy. Still not sure about Crawley and I haven't seen enough of Lees but his technique has looked decent from the little I've seen?

So Ireland took it to the last ball vs India.

Underpowered India?

Good performance from Ireland?

Shows how much of a crapshoot and batting dominant game T20 is?

I'd go for all of the above.

Australia net positive after the 1st day but the Steve Smith run out has made it quite close. It will all come down to how Green and Carey bat.

England win the next Test Championship playing McCullumball and then within a year Test cricket becomes some sort of a 3 day T20 style slap and ticklefest

Or maybe England are in a 55 for 6 sort of position and there's Broad at the crease instead of JOverton. Also maybe there's a proper spinner to mop up the tail. England get out for 130 and bazball fails.

Whatever happens though you know it'll be entertaining.

I admire Pujara but I always celebrate his wicket because he is an absolute yawnfest of a player

I think that England have met their match.

NZ would be 7 down aswell at this point but with 100 fewer runs

Warne made 99 vs NZ and was out caught on the rope to a front foot no ball vs NZ

NZ get smashed by England and then India is making easy work of England. Probably been no bigger gap between India and Australia and the rest of the world than there is now.

YJB looking to score 100 every time he bats while Zak Crawley constantly struggles to reach double figures.

Indians are so terrified of getting mashed around theyve completely messed up their field. Bairstow and root are mostly playing zero risk defensive shots which trickle nowhere and trotting tbrough for an easy single

Terrified
