I have some googling/youtubing to do.
Primarily I'd recommend listening to the album Empires from start to finish. If you don't like that... then well we just don't like the same music. No biggie.

I'm catching a 3 o'clock train to head into Toronto for tonight's game. Gonna get absolutely ****ing plastered if we win.

Almost 40,000 expected for tonight, it's gonna be like one big ass McMaster home game.

I have not been this excited for a sporting event in a long, long time.

"For me, I think [Hamrlik and Neuvirth] selling us out, being selfish like that and making those comments..." Brouwer continued. "Me being on their team, how am I going to trust them as a teammate from now on? Because you know they're not going to support players in the big scheme of things when you go and you play on the team with them; it's going to be tough to want to back those guys from now on."
So the Capitals are going to be even more dysfunctional next year? lol

Hamrlik saying something makes sense, but Neuvy really needs to shut the **** up around microphones. Everytime he gets interviewed he ends up saying something stupid, and **** talking teammates only to come back and say he was misinterpreted.

As far as I can tell, the courts from the NFl lockout looked very negatively on decertification. Wouldn't it be interesting if Canadian courts disagreed. So Canadian portion of union decerts, but US wasn't. All new Canadian Hockey League. As always, lol Leafs.

Much to the chagrin of Ottawa Senators fans I'm sure, Pat Quinn was one of the inductees into the Order of Canada today.

Quote:
Leading up to Friday’s ceremony, hockey stalwart Pat Quinn was sheepish about his accomplishments, which include coaching five National Hockey League teams and leading Team Canada to Olympic gold in 2002 for the first time in 50 years.
He said people fortunate enough to be living their dreams have a duty to give back to the community, and that’s something that, as a coach and owner, he has tried to instill in his players.
“When they have the gifts, obviously they should be giving back,” he said, adding he wished his parents could see him receive his medal. “It is absolutely a thrill. If my mother and father were still here today they’d be awful proud.”
CTV

I heard he was late to the ceremony because the kid spit on him.
