Blocking home plate rule is fine. There is no reason to allow a catcher to do something at home that a 3B wouldn't be allowed to do at third base.

The problem is that what Heim did would have been fine for a 3B imo. Just a terrible, terrible call.

I'm fine with the idea of protecting athletes from themselves(tough guy persona leading to long-term damage), but that was played perfectly.

Wish Ohtani could pitch in good luck one year and go about 18-5 with 40+ HR's. Somehow his ratio of quality starts isn't anything awesome.

Yankees now saying Judge has a torn ligament in his big toe but expect him back at some point this season.

I wonder if he's just crazy unlucky or if that huge body is just more susceptible to baseball injuries? Except for the broken wrist when he was HBP all other IL stints have been injuries while hitting, fielding or running the bases. (and Covid once)

Big men have historically had bad "luck" with feet injuries in the NBA so you may have something going there with your theory.
