Lol. I mean sure, usually the quarter final is a fine world cup for England. But this is your best chance at the trophy in 28 years and probably for another 28.

Angelos Charisteas won two trophies that season bro. Rangz.

pal we have infinite dodgy money being spent in our domestic club academies which has resulted in us being current holders of both the u17 and u20 world cups plus the u19 euro cup. and we got the third youngest squad in russia including sir harry who is gonna be the best striker in the world for the next 10 years, and we got and future 8 times ballon dor winner phil foden about to burst onto the scene

you cant fight money. buyern fans learned that a while back

it might be coming home indefinitely

I personally would be absolutely ****ing gutted if we don't make the final now, would hurt more than when my childhood hero stuart pearce* missed a penalty vs west döucheland. Not applicable though because it's coming home.

*yeah i know, lol, i'm a forest fan (we suck but we have more european cups than all LÖL FRANCE clubs combined)

I had a slightly bad feeling before the colombia game but like 2 mins after kick off i was extremely relaxed and confident all game. Then they scored and i was 100% convinced we were gonna lose on pens. Butnaaaaah pickford GOAT.

Yeah watching the first half of extra time was **** grim lol.

I had a good feeling that we were actually gonna in the pen shootout until Henderson missed and had zero hope. So from then on was so unexpected and a huge buzz

I think anything other than the final now is going to be disappointing for most England fans even though quarter+ would be considered a good WC result going into the competition.

Look forward to lots of saltiness and hate here come Saturday avo
