Please, lets not call this "drama." How about "tragicomedy?" Shakespeare hisself would be envious.

But why reward a city that has no affiliation with the winning team.

Super bowl in Detroit? How is that fair for the winning teams cities and OBV neither is Detroit.
I would respond "find me a city who's team makes the Super Bowl and is upset that their city doesn't get to host it" but i'm sure there are morons on here who would actually think this. If my team makes the Superbowl I don't care if they have it in Antarctica i'll ****ing be there and will be happy about it.

The problem obv is that if you have it in either of the team's cities you piss the other one off.

Yes, Yes, and the only thing I actually disagree with is only having it at warm weather stadiums.

Must be pretty insulting to be an allstar that people want to face.

this is so awesome

in my dream scenario, Kazmir refuses to pitch even as Selig begs him on-field

I think Kazmir and Webb are good for like 2-3 each.

edit: after that, Webb can play 2B and Uggla can pitch the 15th.

Well not everyone is a rich man like you and can afford to travel.

I am more or less saying fans by the use of "city" . Some people go to stadiums because the atmosphere you get there.

Hypothetically if the packers made it to the super bowl.
If you were a packers fan and enjoyed the atmosphere at the stadium (cheese heads, lambo leap, weather conditions, whatever it is) is the game going to be as special for you if its held in some sunny field where you need to have shorts and sunglasses on to see the game? Heck no!

Do you have to watch the whole thing? I'm thinking about just changing the channel. What else is on? Isn't there a replay of Jamie Gold's brilliance coming on ESPN or something?
