I decided to do the math because I was curious... it's actually pretty interesting stuff.
Crede vs. the Twins (11 games): .400/.429/1.050 with 7 HRs.
Crede vs. everyone else (69 games): .237/.326/.406 with 8 HRs.
So basically Crede is a decent player who happened to randomly destroy the Twins in a few games this year. He hasn't been a consistent performer, and he should not be an all-star. It's pretty incredible how a short hot streak can really inflate a player's overall stat-line. I'm not sure how much it matters, just thought it was interesting.
Also, I might just be bitter as a Twins fan.
EDIT: By the way, has anyone noticed that Crede has like the weirdest l/r splits from a right handed hitter ever?
