I think a little too much is being made of Romney's win in Maine and the CPAC straw poll. Santorum still has the momentum IMO and conservatives still have not warmed up to Romney regardless of the straw poll.

Gingrich still leads in the Georgia polls which shows he is still a force in the south. I honestly think that is Newt was to drop out and throw his support behind Santorum, he'd be the favorite to win.

Santorum did not just squeak out those 3 wins against Romney, he clobbered him... and just days after Romney won big in Fla and Nevada. Craziest GOP race ever.

If I were Frothy I would see if I could offer the VP spot to Gingrich in exchange for his endorsement. I think they would make a very powerful team and could crush the republican primary. I was talking this over with the special lady friend and she said no way Gingrich drops out, too much ego. Sounds about right to me, I kind of hope all four of them battle till a brokered convention.

The currently scheduled debates during the primary season as are as follows: on 2/22 on CNN in Arizona; on 3/1 on CNN in Georgia; and on 3/19 on PBS in Oregon. Bear in mind that additional ones may be scheduled and/or that any of the above might be postponed or cancelled (a la the Trump debate that didn't occur).

Wait til the Romney ad spend begins. What was Santorum's position on the auto bailout? I assume he held the same position as Romney. If not, I don't see how Romney is not polling at 0.

Regardless, there is no way Michigan will be red in November, and I have to think the auto bailout will play very well for Obama in Ohio.
