Huey,

Yeah those baked in deep-rooted unfavorables go a long way sadly.

I didn't vote in the primary, so...

Hillary was already the nominee when this stuff happened. Can you connect the dots for us on how if only everyone shamed the DNC harder during the general election, Trump would have been defeated? To use your favorite phrase, this logic seems just a little bit "unhinged".

Nah bud srrrry But hey 2017 is a new year to read more. PRIMARY GOOFY PRIMARY
12-23-2016 , 02:48 PM
lol really? Your response to that post is "actually there were still a few days before the convention vote"?

If you've ever wondered (you don't though) why people compare you unfavorably to ikestoys, look no further than this post. Does that meaningfully change the point I made at all? Of course not, but Dan gets to point out semantic nittery!

Very, very "unhinged".
12-23-2016 , 02:55 PM
Goofy,

I am not engaging in semantic nittery. You said 'Hillary was already the nominee when this stuff happened.'. What "stuff" man?

I am saying that the entire democratic primary process from the get-go was f'd.

I'm kind of annoyed now that I would, every once in a while, warn people on here that the enthusiasm isn't there, that her support was always shaky, and everybody said I was nuts. *sigh*. I mean, Hoya made the case much better than I did but that's his job.
12-23-2016 , 03:01 PM
Dan, "stuff" = DNC leaks. If the entire process from the get-go was ****ed, but we didn't find out about it until a few days before the convention vote, then why are all these people "who pretended the DNC was not corrupt and undermining democracy" after July 22 (and thus after Bernie was never, ever going to be the candidate) responsible for President Trump, exactly?
12-23-2016 , 03:06 PM
A fun compare and contrast is how Dan had such great fun mocking the Hillary stans were INSANE LOL for begging the electoral college to switch their votes after the Russian hacking stuff came out between the election and the EC...

But, apparently, the Wikileaks drop of NOTHING ARE YOU ****ING KIDDING ME THERE WAS NOTHING IN THERE should've caused Democratic delegates to flip THEIR votes once it was revealed the "democratic primary process from the get-go was f'd."

A lot more preening from ole' Danno about the scoreboard when it's Daddy Trump up on the vote total. Funny, that.

*VERY IMPORTANT CAVEAT. Dan is a sincere progressive. He is, we all know this.
12-23-2016 , 03:08 PM
Ah so you were spouting nonsense in your attack against me, got it. Seems like every single one of my informed intelligent friends considered the democratic primary process corrupt and undermining democracy well before the DNC leaks. Sorry if you missed that I guess? I wonder why? hmmm

Also in my post I clearly said "every Hillary primary voter" before even mentioning the DNC apologists, hmmm.
12-23-2016 , 03:08 PM
Russian influence in the American election is a HILARIOUS JOKE, but Democratic party influence over the Democratic primary is CORRUPTION MOST VILE.

Makes sense.

Because you're an ikestoysian semantic nit, I'm just going for the easy ones here. There's a legitimate debate to be had about Hillary primary voters - which would be a good debate to have with people who are capable of arguing honestly - but blaming "DNC apologists" for President Trump is just hilarious wishcasting designed to absolve the naysayers on the sidelines like you, who spent the general election talking about how awful Hillary is, of any of your own responsibility.

And hey, that's your right, I'm not saying we have to be all "Hillary is the nominee now shut the **** up and fall in line". But then if you choose not to, you can't really be over there like "don't blame me I voted for Kodos"? "DNC apologists"' actions have consequences but yours don't? Okay bro, seems legit.
12-23-2016 , 03:44 PM
"Don't blame me, I vote for Kodos" is the perfect slogan for the Bernie Bros who got in line to chant "Lock her up!" With the Trumpettes

You've made it all too clear many times that you really do believe the "Clinton supporters are responsible for Trump" stuff, I think you lack the self-awareness to pull off this kind of "art" buddy.
12-23-2016 , 04:37 PM
You know who was even more responsible than Stein or Clinton primary voters?

People who supported Donald Trump. Dan, real quick, quote one of your posts attacking a Trump supporter and you'll expose all of us as frauds. Do it for Grandma's Medicare!
12-23-2016 , 04:43 PM
Mostly agree with people ITT, but even more important than messaging is running candidates that people actually like. BidenGOAT would have crushed, not because he knows anything Hilldawg doesnt, but because you just look at the guy and instantly like him. America looks at Hillary and winces.

I mean, look at every election since 1980. The more likable candidate has won every single time. Dems need to get out of their beltway bubble and nominate people regular folks actually want to be associated with.
