I'm not trolling, although that doesn't mean many of you aren't being trolled of your own accord. Yes, of course, those were examples posted yesterday. Trolly wanted to discuss them.

Reminder that FoldN banned Fly from a thread so he could have a safe space to spew about racism

Apparently she's hot too, lol.
I'm re-setting the line on "how long since foldn has actually set foot on a college campus" from 10 years to never.

I wish I could find my rating that said I was hot from when I was a TA (probably from the girl who I dated after the semester) but alas it seems to have been deleted from the internet's memory.

I'm not sure if you understand what I'm asking. Try thinking up a scenario where the Supreme Court violates the 1st Amendment. What does that situation look like?

Interesting debate on the topic of free speech on campus held a few months ago at Yale with good points brought up on both sides.

FoldN devolving into ACst arguing right before our eyes by posting an hour and a half yooottuuuubbzzz that there is a zero percent chance he actually watched with no guidance or analysis of salient points.

Here is a very interesting video introducing a rope-less jump rope. An intriguing product with a variety of advantages and disadvantages compared to the regular jump ropes.

Beating FoldN to the punch! From my IDer conservative acquaintance on FB:

"And the insanity marches on. How dare someone question the wisdom of social justice warriors. Just the idea of questioning these ignorant SJW's means they should be mobbed and told “You should not sleep at night. You are disgusting.”

Before I decide to lock away a large portion of my day on a video you are too lazy to type a paragraph summarizing, can you let me know whether "good" here is the same standard of "good" you applied to repeatedly bumping that a black college kid said something stupid on Facebook?

In before Foldn posts https://www.yahoo.com/music/indie-ba...164048683.html and complains rape apologist needs safe space.

FoldN probably too busy today out protesting that six months in jail for a drunken rapist is too harsh.

Man I ****ing love twitter. Gives idiots an outlet to expose themselves, and people the ability to make them face real consequences.

No shock to see friends and family come to his defense. Hell, Dottie Sandusky refuses to admit that her hubby is a pedophile.

Nobody wants to believe that they held a convicted rapist in high esteem. Rather than abandoning him and admitting their error in judgment, they deal with cognitive dissonance by denying reality and writing character letters supporting him. After all, that's what they think a real friend would do.

As for the current topic, what a nightmare. I don't post in politics all that often. Is this how FoldN posts in every thread?

Nice debate imo. I thought the first guy to summarize for the NO side lost the debate when he started listing the ways free speech IS being threatened, like calling people bullies, or authoritarian, or like the leader of North Korea. Kind of contradicts his position. He claimed to be a free speech absolutist but I guess some things are even beyond the pale for him.

But then I thought the second guy to summarize for the NO side pulled it out of the fire. By far the most important thing is that people who are hurt by thoughtless or purposeful insensitive speech feel free to express their feelings and thereby provide instruction regarding such speech. Better people learn about it in college than graduate ignorant of the fact.

Maybe the pendulum has swung too far and dreadful accusations are overused. If that's the case the pendulum will right itself naturally. Dreadful accusations commonly made too easily will become diluted and their shaming power diminished. This punitive "shaming" seems to be the source of complaints about a "chilling" environment. The YES people seemed to have trouble coming up with examples of official punitive actions. If shaming is overused the child who cried wolf effect will kick in to right the ship.

The thing about colleges is that they are full of a lot of very smart people. I think they will sort it out as they have done with many issues in the past.

The pendulum is swinging off the hook if you believe what you read, and I don't know how much smarts has to do with it. Dan Carlin sounds pretty alarmed in his latest podcast, touching on free speech a little and focusing on the hatred and emotional reasoning on all sides tearing our society apart.

I have been a Dan Carlin fan for a while, that common sense episode was by far the dumbest, poorly argued **** bag hottake I have heard him do. It managed to be more worthless than his interviews with Cenk Uygur and Sam Harris combined, I instantly regretted half of my donations.

Huh? Pointing out there are serious threats to free speech like in north ****ing korea is in no way capitulating on the "free speech on campus" debate. Indeed, juxtaposing the actual serious threats with the trumped up (can I no longer use this expression these days?) nonsense from campuses.

Pointless repetition of my name

No, he bent over backwards and forwards and every which way not to identify the proximate cause of escalating protests, as if there isn't one and only one man actively, intentionally, with the biggest microphone in the culture atm, for the purpose of winning office, inflaming racial resentment in this society.
