If you shoot a hibernating bear with cubs though you're an evil scumbag no matter what you do with the corpse. It's insane that that would ever be legal.
If ants come in your kitchen you kill them, but you don't sit on the sidewalk and smash them for fun. If you're killing to eat a deer, yeah that's better than buying hamburgers, but enjoying the murder part is psychotic. And grizzly bears? F no.

It's still good no matter how many times I watch it. It's a Parks and Rec episode come to life.

A little bit of googling indicates that bear load rifle ammunition goes from $3-$5 a bullet and you aren't shooting that **** through a rifle that MSRPs under $800.

Hunting deer and other abundant middle-of-the-food-chain critters is an ecological necessity after we've killed off so many creatures at the top of food chain in the name of defending livestock and trophy hunting, and if you're going to kill them, it's best to eat them. But hunting the creatures at the top of the food chain is a horrible waste and is killing creatures who have already been overhunted.

Do you need a fancy hunting rifle if you're gonna cap 'em in their sleep? Seems like a .45 revolver would do the trick.

Oh yea, well a little more googling shows bear jerky retails for like 40 bucks a pound. Bag a few sleepers and it more than pays for itself.

According to the article I posted, it's not for hunting them in their den but allows them to hunt close to their den.

It is funny that most people in this thread are commenting on something they no little about. There are large portions of Alaska's population that don't have a grocery store around the corner. So they are required to either hunt or fish for their meal or starve.

It's got to be another coal rolling situation. Snarky libs heart animals therefore let's kill all the animals that'll learn em good!

One reason I consider the investigation into possible illegal spying against a President-elect just as important as the investigation into possible Russian collusion is that we can not give up our principles of ethical use of governmental powers just because we want to get someone. Going after the disclosure of private tax information is just as an unethical use of governmental powers as illegal spying.

that post is ****ing idiotic

nobody itt cares that you want to position yourself as the defender of donald trump's tax returns

Which is the worse abuse of governmental power:
A bill or law passed via a democratic process requiring the President to release tax information

Or

Using the powers of the presidency to enrich oneself and ones family?

Rara,

This has nothing to do with subsistence hunters.

You can just put its paw in a bowl of warm water and it will die of embarrassment.

So clearly the most sensible thing to do is go to a bear den an kill a hibernating mother. Even you can't possibly believe that's what this is about.

You should have to wake it up first and use a knife. The grogginess would make it an even fight and you'd have something to be proud of.

Right, I'm sure the guys shooting animals FROM HELICOPTERS have no way of getting to a Costco.

It's not about sport/trophy hunting either. FWIW locals have in the past climbed into a bear den and killed the animal because it was a problem bear.

Doesn't everybody in Alaska already get a check? So I guess that plan is a wash. Running out of ideas here. Maybe mine some more coal?

Congress has the legal right to request individual tax returns for review, the process is explained at 6103(f)

Absurdly ignorant, pathological and fairly pathetic take right here.

Now gobble up your inhumane factory farmed trash, you big dicked coolbro, you.

I wonder what the most insane wingnut position we could get HastenDan to take just by having anyone left of center oppose it.
