I've been to Germany a couple of times and speak a bit of German. Get treated real nice for making any effort. I'm kinda a big, loud guy, which is different from most Germans (or Northern Euros generally), but they end up liking me.

I met a nice looking girl in NE Germany who was asking to stay with me for a couple of weeks because she wanted to move to LA. I was open to the idea of her staying over, but it seemed like she wanted to move to LA and make money selling Herbalife. I think I linked her Einhorn's 300 page short-seller presentation on why Herbalife was a scam. I told her that plan was a one-way ticket to busto and I wouldn't let her stay with me if she didn't have a better plan. She stopped texting after that. Girls you meet at techno festivals are sometimes not that well grounded.

Do they know Trump is the most heavily watched, scrutinized, and reported on person on earth with reporters stationed on his property and aides surrounding him and he gets on a plane and a pool of reporters fly with him and all of these people report that he watches television and live tweets what he sees in between golf rounds and pointless rallies and there is no evidence of him personally getting any work done and he shows almost no understanding of how our government works based on audio and video of him speaking everywhere he goes. I mean wtf. Btw my mom thinks he is a great negotiator and dealmaker.

Nobody really hates Americans anyways. One dumbass president doesn't do it and most realize the people who voted him in don't really travel. The only thing that came close recently was the second Iraq war.

I had a great time in France and no one was rude to me. However from my travels, there definitely seems to be something different about how the French relate to other people and each other.

On my little road trip I did to Mexico and Central America - I met a lot of other "overlanders" from all over the world. W/o fail the only ones who spoke very little to no English OR Spanish were from France. After a while when I saw the French license plate I wouldn't even try to talk to them. At the places where multiple vehicles would gather - the French and French Canadians would always clump together and keep to themselves.

At one of those places I was talking to a French couple - told them I was from LA. "LA - eez a terrible town". Ha ha ok - I can take a little jab. So I made some joke and they just stared at me.

The boat I volunteered on to go through the Panama Canal was a French couple with their Dad. They were fine to us, but they kind of had to be. And they were always arguing with each other. Once we were all done and just wanted to get to anchor so we could get off the boat, the couple decided to argue for 15 minutes about which buoy to anchor to. I was about to lose it. The food they made was amazing though - every meal was a from-scratch production.

I did have a French guy go out of his way to offer me medical-grade burn cream when I looked like a lobster. And I had him pegged as a dirtbag - which I felt like a complete ******* for. So you always have to give people the benefit of the doubt.

Clinton top? Wtf?

In my lifetime alone Carter and Obama were much better, and probably LBJ too though I was much too young then.

1. Clinton

3.Kennedy

I've been ripped for being an imperialist American at some time pretty much on every video game with chat since I've had internet. Backgammon and chess included.

I kinda balance Trump as the worst president with the knowledge that Andrew Johnson and some others were really, really bad. None in the 20th Century were terrible, but the GOP is 2 for 2 in the 21st (though in 2018 historians put Bush 30/44--probably because he still has a constituency.)

The 10 worst presidents: Besides Trump, whom do scholars scorn the most?

Quote:
#44 — Donald Trump
Dead last is an accomplishment for a guy who’s only been president for a year. Of course, it’s easy to attribute that to our political polarization and the liberal bent of many presidential scholars. But those who identified themselves as Republican-leaning also rated Trump as a lousy commander in chief, though not the worst. They ranked him #40, awarding him a better spot than the crew of wretched men who led us into the Civil War. The nation, after all, isn’t at war with itself. Yet.

Carter? Lol. Clinton easily achieved more than he ever did. Though out of all three I got Obama doing the most.

LBJ could've been the greatest President after Lincoln, but dat Nam tho.

Trump is so weak its amazing. He told Chris Wallace that although his administration has the tape of the Khashoggi murder, he doesn't want to hear it "Because its a suffering tape. Its a terrible tape. I've been fully briefed on it. There's no reason for me to hear it." He went on to say that "nobody really knows" if MBS knew about the plot. Trump is clearly the worst President ever, and even when he out of office, the damage he's done will not be quickly repaired.
