I agree, which is why I don't see the Seattle area as being under any sort of threat. However, if they do decide Seattle is high enough on their kill list for their two or three icbms, then it could only be because they want to take out Bangor. That or they really ****ing hate Amazon.

Well, it's close too. If you want a high priority target that's as close to you as possible, seems right to me

I'm assuming their first one isn't going to be very big and also maybe not that likely to work so good.

Agreed. North Korea gets to shoot their shot once, and that's it and they know it. Kim likes power and wants to stay in power, and war with the U.S. and our allies will end that. He's crazy and unpredictable, but I think he knows at least that much.

I don't know if this was pointed out before but the National Enquirer story on Manafort's affair came out immediately after the raid on his house. That's their version of pouring rum all over him and throwing him to the curb.

You can model different size warheads and detonation altitudes over you favorite Armageddon sites.

There's the link to my other data point. It's op-ed I guess, but it's fantastically bad that they put this guy up on their site. Since posting about how he's a holocaust denier and anti-Mason (like free masons, like he's insane) I've found out that he's a cult leader and has a very weird following of women in Turkey who turn themselves into some form of barbie doll.

This is full of weirdness and entertaining, but jump to 11:08 for the weird barbie's dancing in their seats.

Unless you're following Rojava you're probably not interested in the article content - so I'm just attacking the author and the The Hill here. The content is awful though as well.

It took like 1 minute on google to find out the author was no one that you'd want to put up on your website, so I figure they are at least generally pretty negligent.

Yeah I have no idea about anything you're talking about. Maybe this guy is an under the radar whack job and people don't know about him?

Are you talking about this article?

I wasn't talking about that article just now. I was talking about the hill. But I have posted about that story a couple of times.
08-10-2017 , 06:45 PM
Where is the hill article you're talking about?

I watched about half of that broadly documentary you linked ... there's not enough time in the day for me to get into any of that.

Trump today on the Manafort FBI raid:

I thought it was a very, very strong signal or whatever,” Trump told reporters at his New Jersey golf club where he is on a “working vacation.”

Trump said he has not spoken to Manafort, who used to run his campaign, “in a long time,” and claimed Manafort was part of the campaign “for a very short period of time, relatively short period of time.”

“I’ve always known him to be a good man. I thought it was a very, you know — they do that very seldom, so I was surprised to see it,” Trump said. “I was very, very surprised to see it. We haven’t really been involved.”

What? Who? Paul Manafort? Never heard of him!

Yeah I don't see him doing anything unless he's certifiably mental. He probably likes that he has Trump to yank around and make himself look strong; any attack would be certain suicide and likely annihilation of a significant amount of the NK population (though not sure how much he cares about that).

Trump Attorney Calls FBI’s Raid on Manafort Home ‘Gross Abuse’
In an email to the Journal at 3:48 a.m. Eastern Thursday, Mr. Dowd sharply criticized Mr. Mueller for what he called an unnecessary move.

“This extraordinary invasive tool was employed for its shock value to try to intimidate Mr. Manafort and bring him to his needs [sic],” wrote Mr. Dowd, a veteran Washington lawyer and one of the main outside attorneys representing Mr. Trump in the Russia investigation.

Trump is only "thanking" Russia as his way of saving face.

This was a pretty heavy hit to their relationship and he's basically lying to himself that this is what he wanted in the end.

Seattle makes sense as a NK target. They wont need the ICBM, just order something from Amazon, pretend to return it and put the nuke in the package instead. Job done.
