Franks, a member of the House Judiciary Committee, claims Mueller is violating a law governing the special counsel that prohibits him from serving if he has a "conflict of interest," which includes "a personal relationship with any person substantially involved in the conduct that is the subject of the investigation or prosecution."

Franks cited a Fox News report from May that cast Mueller and former FBI Director James Comey as "longtime allies." Mueller served as the FBI director when Comey was the deputy attorney general in 2003. The investigation into Russia's meddling int he 2016 presidential election has expanded to include possible ties between the Trump campaign and Russia, as well as the president's decision to fire Comey earlier this year.

The highlight was Butowsky claiming 'white house' was code for some dc cop, when presented with a text where he said the white house had seen the story and wanted it out immediately.

The relationship between President Trump and Senate Republicans has deteriorated so sharply in recent days that some are openly defying his directives, bringing long-simmering tensions to a boil as the GOP labors to reorient its stalled legislative agenda.

Sen. Lamar Alexander (R-Tenn.), head of the Senate Health, Education, Labor and Pensions Committee, announced Tuesday that he would work with his Democratic colleagues to “stabilize and strengthen” the individual insurance market under the Affordable Care Act, which the president has badgered the Senate to keep trying to repeal. Alexander also urged the White House to keep up payments to insurers that help low-income consumers afford plans, which Trump has threatened to cut off.

Oops!

He's got it if Trump is guilty for sure, which I think at this point he has to be at least of obstruction and probably conspiracy.

Getting anything to happen as a result of him being guilty, that's going the be the tricky part.

The most tragic part of that interview is the domain name debunkingrodwheelersclaims dot com.

The Messing tweet was still idiotic and irrelevant. Who gives a flying **** what Debra Messing thinks? Why focus one iota of energy on that unless you have an obsessive fixation on rooting out liberal hypocrisy?

Because it's a dumb tweet and lots of things on Twitter involve pointing out dumb tweets. It doesn't bother you when anyone points out bad tweets made by Republicans; the real issue here is that you see Greenwald as someone betraying the liberal cause when I doubt he identifies as a liberal to begin with.

The setup for Cuomo's interview was very good and Butowski wasn't prepared refute it. I don't see what good he thinks he's doing himself going on CNN. Ffs he starts out calling himself a Trump surrogate and by the end he has trouble getting out that he even voted for him.

I missed the original post and may have this out of context and this has nothing to do with suzzer or Greenwald, but HRC's tax plan was 43.6% on income over $5M so I'm not sure what Debra is talking about. Is it clear though that she meant that's too high and not too low?

The rules of engagement on these psychotic liars needs reworked imo. Cuomo was good, but like 85% of that exchange was the fat pig answering yes/no questions with non sequitur rambling to either 1) run out the clock or 1.1) hope the question gets repeated so he can pivot to the "CAN I FINISH?" trick, which is the QQ+ fantasyland of time wasting for liars. I think Cuomo should just say no, this is a TV SHOW here buddy, not your vlog for incoherent psychobabble about cotton shirts. At least that's BillO would have done.

Yes - she goes on to rant about it. Well I dunno. I thought I saw that somewhere.

What is sure is she tweets about 500 times/day and who the hell knows what she was thinking. https://twitter.com/DebraMessing

Interesting that GG uses a screenshot which makes it hard to find the tweet.

Rod Wheeler is black, and Butowski went straight for the "He's desperate for cash; he'll say and do anything" defense. Pretty sure that's chessmate for 40% of Americans. Plus CNN is fake news, and the whole story broke on radical leftist NPR. So this story only matters for its utility to particularly aggressive left leaners to embarrass their Trumpkin relatives at barbecues when they start crowing about fake news.

Its amazing how everyone in this administration is a moron. Wow Mulvaney is now saying some deficits are OK. Pretty sure that was antithetical to everything he stood for in congress.

Yea one by one and day by day they are being exposed as the pond scum of the earth that they are. Jeff sessions going full racist, targets affirmative action.

Elections have consequences is going to become a slogan in this country for a long time. Get out and vote and not just in national elections. It is a racist and bigoted constituence that elected session in the first place 40 years ago, non cretins have to counter that
