God I wish I knew how to photoshop or mix vids. Trump's face at 1:21 is EXACTLY like Kramers at the end of "The Jimmy" episode!

Such a shame. Was looking forward to some Mooch entertainment for the next couple of months. That Survivor White House Post cover was elite. Whos next? I got my money on Tillerson.

Why are you trying to make me sound like a conspiracy theorist without needing me to actually be one? This is exactly how pile-ons gain momentum.
Our House reminds me a bit of einbert. Some good content, some stuff that's a bit of a stretch, lots of volume.

The word "shambolic" was made for this administration.

You're the chaos.

Yeah, seriously this. People who can't write in coherent English almost always suck (provided English is their first language) and people who can't take the time to type with capital letters and periods always suck.

Its just that they come into office and start pushing against institutions not necessarily with a plan in mind, and this way gaining more and more space together with the removal of the belief that there exists facts. When there is no facts or common understanding there is no trust and democracy fails without trust, this is at the center of other faschist takeovers. There is indeed a number of alarming similarities that he explains that you might want to have a look at. I just posted the video from vox that shows how the republicans first embraced the climate change and now denies it, i think that would show that contesting or denying facts had a turning point before this election.

His book at amazon is a manual that tells you whats going on and what you can do.

On Tyranny: Twenty Lessons from the Twentieth Century

He says there is a limited time period where activism is possible, i think i would concider that if i lived in the US now.
Democracy declining has little to do with Trump itself, it is a process that is going on since a couple decades.

USA is rated a flawed democracy #
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Democracy_Index

The election process is broken and ranked worst around western democracy's.

Also the way how campaigns are funded ( by the 1%) guarantees that your local congressman will show more loyalty to his donors then to his voters.

Where is this guy's methodology? I see nothing. It just looks like a bunch of cherry-picked crackpottery to me, but maybe I just can't find his model specification or specific hypotheses. What did he control for? How did he handle missing data? Are there correlated errors, endogeneity, or omitted variables that bias the results, etc.? Addressing all of that (and more) is the bare minimum to be taken seriously by people who know what's up. Doesn't mean he didn't back into something here but I doubt he's qualified to conduct an unobjectionable analysis of it.

Well it makes some sense, you dont need a full six months to write a book about this white house, after ten days i imagine hes fully loaded.

Didnīt we have a rather depressing survey that cam to the conclusion that 98% of Trump voters would vote for him again?

We all know that he is failing in a spectacular way but for the typical Trumpkin this s just the Swamp being so corrupt that not even Trump can do anything about it.

But how much is the "would you vote again" poll of value? It's not a real choice. People aren't presented a real alternative so yeah must people would say they would do most things like that again.

I'm not a big fan of super hypothetical polling. If you are not actually presenting a real choice in context I think you get a lot of noise. Was my issue w three way polling during the election. Offering someone three options they will never have will not ever likely predict actual actions!
