carson being some amazing surgeon is a complete joke and a myth. check his wiki page. almost all of his high profile surgeries were failures and ppl died.

I remember reading an article (wish I could find it) where some guy claimed that if it was surgery day with carson, his colleagues would rush to get there way before carson so they could set things up properly and get as much done without him as possible.

oh, I just googled and it looks like he lost his medical license and has been sued a bunch of times for malpractice.

I declare the US-Russian War on Terrorism through the first five plus months. (Just a minor aside since when was Russia ever part of The US and its allies policies on terrorism, even ignoring segments of Russia being terrorists themselves be it annexing territory or terrorising the internet)

I guess my last point is that fighting terrorism is thrown out as the flimsiest reason for these US-Russian ties and it is 100% bull****?

Where have Trump and Putin stood together to unveil their plan on terror? Not to mention what these two countries consider terrorism and Terrorist threats have very little cross over.

This is why Christie got the boot as the head of the transition team. He wanted to many humans to fill out the administration.

But isn't kushner just a symbolic mini trump from literally the same background and bonafides that know absolutely nothing how the government works and who insanely thought they could bring their shady and immoral business practices to D.C. and run America like a (very bad and corupt) business.

Sounds like something out of a Mr. Magoo cartoon. In the early 70s Carson made a bet he could get through med school, become an (on the outside successful) surgeon, and then president, all with his eyes closed! He failed on the last hurdle, losing to a guy that made an equally crazy bet that he could become president using only "The great quotebook of dictators and sex offenders" as his source of policy.

LMAO on MSNBC just now.

Carl, Navy Seal Trumpkin: This is the problem with the left and how they make things up out of allegation after allegation. Many many Presidents have opened backchannels to many many countries in the past.
MSNBC: Really...Which ones?
Carl: Well, we don't know about them because they were never LEAKED like they are now.

Just ****-ing kill me.

HRC would have been among the most capable presidents of all time. That being said, at this point she needs to just go the **** away. Every time she surfaces all the oxygen in the political world is sucked out and the media is focussed on her only. She is nothing more than a distraction at this point and does no good at all.

You realize that HuffPo article is a parody right?
http://www.snopes.com/ben-carson-brainless-surgeon/

Like I realize that Carson is a religious loon, but you don't do yourself any favors by regurgitating absolute false hoods.

Every neurosurgeon has/is going to be sued during their career. Malpractice suits don't quantify a physician's skill. Especially in high risk careers like surgery.

Christie got booted for the same reason as everyone else: They warned Trump about Flynn right before the booting.

Oh look, the bat signal went out and in comes Awval to defend the Trump administration. Interesting how he only posts to defend them.

Odd's awval is in fact Jason Miller?

I think it would be really interesting and I'm not sure the ruling would be completely based in law. If it was a choice between letting Trump go quietly away w/ a pardon or all out constitutional crisis / tearing the country apart I think trump gets out with the pardon.

I think the chances of Trump ever facing any form of actual punishment for his actions (beyond being removed from office) are basically non existent.

And I actually think he'd pardon most of his cronies if the end was in sight for him. If he thinks he has any chance of keeping his job or getting re-elected then I see him hanging them out to dry. But if impeachment proceedings start and it looks likely the senate would convict, I totally see him pardoning a bunch of people.

I just point out ridiculous falsehoods. This is a forum for truth, yes?

The majority of the posts are legitimate concerns about the Administration. I don't call those out.

they are both equally smart biologically, its just that the guy that was nerding his youth away will appear _far_ more intelligent some years down the road.

so i just dont care very much for these types of discussion about smarts and not smarts tbh since who is "smart" is going to be highly dependent on who burned more time reading books, who got the direction and values from their parents while young, who has the devotion, who didnt fit in socially, who takes more pride in their intelligence etc.
To me intelligence is much more a function of people who inquisitively try to learn more about things they don't already know. So basically broadening their horizons and keeping an open mind in hopes of learning more.

I have never considered someone capable of just regurgitating information as being terribly smart and certainly not enjoyable to talk to. You could have a reknowned expert who is head is just packed with facts about one narrow discipline. I don't I would really come away from a conversation with such a person that they were brilliant.

JFC this is ridiculous. Carson was Director of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins FFS. All the evidence points to him being an excellent surgeon.

Historically a lot will become of these illicit connections. However I count myself among those who don't believe Trump will be impeached or removed from office before 2020. Although I think the odds of Trump winning re-election has to be in the single digits.
