So something is up. Who knows what or even in what direction.
Generally speaking, bad news coming down the pipeline has made him freak out and lash out more, not go quiet... If the report said he colluded, but that DOJ doesn't indict the sitting president, and he knew that was in there, I think he'd be freaking out on Twitter about how it was a witch hunt and Mueller was a liberal hatchet man.
That said, if the report was truly totally good news for him, and he knew it, he'd be taking a huge victory lap on Twitter by now.
The only way silence makes sense is if they haven't figured out what course of action is best, and he's actually more disciplined than we all think in regard to Twitter. Like perhaps they're debating whether or not they can get away with suppressing most of the bad stuff and claiming it exonerates him, without any of it leaking to the public? In which case they wouldn't want to be attacking Mueller anymore, but if they didn't think they could get away with it, attacking Mueller more would be the play... Hence silence.
I also expected them to be selectively leaking the parts of it that made them look good by now, assuming the White House has had a look. I figured within 24 hours of the report dropping, we'd be seeing small portions leaked to the media to make Trump look good, then once Congress got the full report we'd get the entire thing leaked and see what it really said.
Is it possible that Barr hasn't given it to the White House yet and is actually reading it first?
This silence definitely doesn't make much sense at all, and I'm curious what the rest of you think is going on...
