Actually most of this thread has been saying for months now that the Mueller report wasn't going to do much of anything.

The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: State of Emergency
Also we’ve mostly been saying they’d uncover a ton of financial and other crimes from investigations, not necessarily a smoking gun for “collusion”...and those investigations are still ongoing...he’s committed so many crimes it’ll take years to sort it all out
Between the trump tower meeting, trump personally dictating the lying statement and manafort giving polling data to Russia, there was at least some collusion, but that doesn’t mean there will be hard evidence of trump himself being involved bc it was prolly all verbal with him
Also the obstruction of justice is out in the open and clear as day; he’s been doing that in the open and 40% of the country says “nothing to see here”

Re: The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: State of Emergency
Collusion as we understand it isn’t necessarily a crime. The poker “implicit” collusion is actually okay in antitrust law and in uncharted territory in other areas of law. In other words, what we know of Trump’s actions is legally murky and not clearly illegal.
He is still 100% immoral, unethical, and IMO impeachable.

Re: The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: State of Emergency
She just shredded the tiny bit of credibility she gained by resigning in my book.
The only reasons I still reserve judgment for some people in Trump’s admin are:
1. People need to feed families and some of them may have no better job offers
2. Some may be plants and actively working to contain Trump.
I think it’s obvious there were some people in camp 2 but Trump has weeded most of them out.
Conway, Pompeo, Perry, and SHS are definitely beyond redemption though.

Re: The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: State of Emergency
politically the dems should let this go or they are going to make the same mistake the repubs made in 95
the latest usa poll says that 50% think mueller report was a witchunt, and that was before its release.
dems should concentrate on winning in 2020 without talking about russia or collusion or obstruction, or they will surely lose

So the allegations of sexual misconduct in the White House and conspiring with a foreign government to rig an election are equal.
Whatever man.
A foreign government did in fact meddle significantly in our election and it was very clear the point was to get Trump elected. Everyone in the USA has admitted as much except Trump himself. It's such a false equivalent. And I believe it was 98 not 95. And Bush won the presidency.
Your bad at this. Go troll somewhere else.

Using the Anti-Defamation League’s Hate, Extremism, Anti-Semitism, Terrorism map data (HEAT map), we examined whether there was a correlation between the counties that hosted one of Trump’s 275 presidential campaign rallies in 2016 and increased incidents of hate crimes in subsequent months.
To test this, we aggregated hate-crime incident data and Trump rally data to the county level and then used statistical tools to estimate a rally’s impact. We included controls for factors such as the county’s crime rates, its number of active hate groups, its minority populations, its percentage with college educations, its location in the country and the month when the rallies occurred.
We found that counties that had hosted a 2016 Trump campaign rally saw a 226 percent increase in reported hate crimes over comparable counties that did not host such a rally.

Now imagine the impact when his hateful rhetoric is amplified by Carlson, Hannity, Ingram, et al. They should be in jail.

might not be the right thread, but I've heard that Trump is going to replace Pence with Haley since the D ticket will probably have at least one woman.

What crime or crimes shown in the report would be sufficient for you to call for impeachment or at least vote for Bernie Sanders in 2020? No, you don't get to weasel out and vote third party. The point is to name a crime that you find such a big deal that it is imperative to defeat Trump, not just weakly not vote for him.

With Donald J. Trump it means a lot. It is absolutely unprecedented. He doesn’t take counsel and there is no way he would not tweet just because advisors told him to wait and see.
So something is up. Who knows what or even in what direction.
Also in terms of the Mueller investigation I think when there was real concern around mid terms that it would be shut down that really it was just important to to seat a new house who can take over the investigation. While the AG determines what if anything is released I am pretty sure congress can get access to the full report. Given how massively quiet Mueller and his staff have been there is no expectation of explanations of hows or whys.
Anyways there has already been so much corruption, illegality and collusion around Trump and his campaign that we are past that. Several here have told the rest of us it’s a political process and the field is skewed and expectations should be tempered.
I wasn’t expecting a Colombo moment with the release. I think at some point there will be s straw break moment but it could happen after trump is out of office.
Back to the silence. It absolutely means something. It is impossible it is a coincidence.

Re: The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: State of Emergency
Best case scenario for trump is the mueller report is 100% classified and blacked out leaving the only crimes the special counsel uncovered directly about trump to be that he directed his attorney to commit felony campaign finance fraud in the election he won by a margin of -2.1% of votes cast
Illegitimate,
Felonious,
Overall super dumb and childish,
clowny embarrassment of a

Re: The Presidency of Donald J. Trump: State of Emergency
The Dem candidate for POTUS should not make Russia a center point of their campaign, but if Adam Schiff et al go after it as hard as possible that's fine. The Dem candidate should probably just list things like: Trump's National Security Advisor - Prison, Campaign manager - Prison, Lawyer - Prison, show some photos of Steve Banon and Sebastian Gorka etc and leave it at that.
