If you are late to class, max out credit cards, expect other people to buy you stuff, go to the mall with your mom and want a toy, have a mortgage loan underwater, there is no incentive for you to care about a national debt, other than it will prevent expansion of business. I think that was most of it. Emphasis on the ideas all being bipartisan sponsorship bills.

They are not going to raise taxes. Obama controlled both houses in lame duck, and he could not allow Bush tax cuts to expire. To many of his rich buddies wanted their money. How is he going to get it past the house?

The AJA will increase GDP growth. Over 10 years we'll have more than made up for the $450b cost. It's entirely self financing.

i didn't watch the entire speech, but why in the hell does Obama think this has any chance of passing? GOP was offered 4:1 cuts to tax increases in the debt debate and didn't take it. Now its 1:1 spending increase to tax increase. there is no way this passes.
