Eagles are a good pick and the rest of their schedule is tough so better to use them now versus later.

What's the school of thoughts on how best to use multiple entries in a double picks week? Have most of the best bets available other than SD. How much do I mix it up based on EV or win %?

How does this look...have 4 entries - 1200 entries left.

GB/DET
GB/DAL
NOR/PHI
SF/PHI

Better to mix in NOR more often? Dallas too big a risk? I generally tend to stay away from road games when possible.

Thanks -

no, he has four entries in a pool with a double pick week and is thinking of using GB twice

Sure except possibly home to Titans Nov 23 although this is quite down the road.

Eagles didn't strike me as the best choice to me this week BUT in my pool, most people burned them week 1 (I did not). I am considering using them this week mainly because:

1) Limited FV (like CSFurious alluded to)
2) I get some differentiation because everyone else already burned them

I need a line check re: (2) - who thinks this is a factor I should put much weight on? I already used GB. I expect most of these poolies to be on Saints, with a sprinkle of Seahawks.

No. He said GB was playing Det and Dal. Obvious typo. I was just trolling.

Go Pack Go I guess. If I lose because Ponder won a road game in Lambeau then it wasn't meant to be.

Still struggling with how much to put on GB with four double picks. Too risky to put them in 3 of my entries? Bridgewater downgraded to doubtful so that makes Samantha Ponder and next in line. Too easy to pass up??

You were correct above btw...was thinking of pairing GB with both Detroit AND Dallas.

My thinking exactly! I took GB tonight in pool w/6000 entries originally, only 2200 remaining.

I'm in this pool and don't have GB left!

Fun fact.... Made it to final 27 last year out of 6000 in this pool. 26 of us lost in week 15 (had to pick 2 teams FU eagles) and 1 guy won $600k!

How does one get in this league?

I loaded up all-in on GB this week in the 3 pools I'm in. Pretty happy right now. Relaxed Sunday.

I always wonder how one handles the money management in a pool of that size - do you walk into the local bank and cash 6,000 checks? And how do you not avoid taxes...

Cash only and money goes in a safe, at least that's my understanding.

Yep...met the guy this year when I had to drop off the money. He won't even send the winnings out anymore. You have to go to his home state to pick it up.

Dang Royal, that is impressive making it final 27. Seriously it is like making it final 3 tables of WSOP ME!

Final 3 tables and have $0 to show for it!

It definitely made weeks 13-15 last year exciting....esp with Gmen sucking so bad.

I played in a pool for a couple years run by some Wall Street guy that was about 200K total, and they accepted checks. That's what led me to the question.

I'm taking Pitt this Sunday. Seems like a no brainer. They have zero future value, are favored by 7.5, and should be pretty pissed off after last week.
