I don't think Michael Bisping should still be fighting for the sake of his eye despite talking himself up that there's nothing wrong with him. He was frustrated by Tim Kennedy's smothering tactics but Cung Le should oblige with a stand-up fight.

One concern for me about betting on Cung Le to win is that he's never been past three rounds in MMA (he has in kickboxing though). He might not have to.

Who do I think is going to win? If Michael Bisping fights better than he did against Tim Kennedy, Cung Le probably won't have much of a chance. Bisping should be faster to the punch & I fear we may see a repeat of Cung Le vs. Wanderlei Silva.
Yes. The biggest problem is Cung Le's cardio.

Bisping has no where near the power of Silva and Le had some really good moments in that fight. Silva has tones of KO power at 205 let alone at 185 and Bisping has never really been a one shot KO guy.

Not sure why Le's cardio is being called into question, he has never looked terrible in round 3 from memory and his losses are against a huge Silva and the fluke loss to smith.

He looks in the shape of his career and Bisping looked the worst he ever has vs Kennedy.

Obv wouldn't be shouting his name at evens but +270 is quite a price

Being reported meins dad was arrested at weighins...

Could mess up his mindset if true

In Cung Le's only MMA fight that went to decision, I might be in a very small minority who was surprised Cung Le got three 30-27s against Patrick Cote. I don't remember it being that one-sided. I think I remember seeing Cung 'struggle' & 'survive' that third round but that might be my very hazy memory of the fight.

Cung Le has been asked about his cardio...

http://www.mmamania.com/2014/7/30/59...ake-damage-mma

...which obviously leads to speculation about his improved physique.

http://www.reddit.com/r/MMA/comments...ique_over_his/

Michael Bisping's perceived high cardio is pretty much down to most of his recent fights going to decision & he has only been in ONE five round fight so Bisping's cardio can be called into question as well.

Bisping isn't incapable of KOing someone but his wins over Jason Miller, Jorge Rivera & Denis Kang might be considered questionable in relation to how Michael deals with Cung Le.

I just feel that Bisping should be faster than Le (mostly 'age bias' on my behalf). If it turns out Le is faster than Bisping then Cung should win then.

2/1+ for Cung Le to beat Michael Bisping isn't a bad bet. I certainly won't be rushing in to bet on Michael Bisping to win at fairly heavy odds-on.

Elsewhere...I didn't realise Alistair Overeem was such a bad sparring partner to face.

EDIT: Jordan Mein's father being arrested for...sexual battery? If true then, yuk.

Yep, Jordan's mindset might not be in the right place if this is indeed verified news. Was going to have a bet on him to beat Mike Pyle.

Bought out of my Jordan Mein -19x bet for slight profit after that considering Pyle is currently +215 and line has moved in my favour so i'll lock in tiny profit and call it a day on that fight. Hopefully he still wins for anyone with a bet on him. @Sect if you want any more on Pyle as price has improved etc after this news let me know obv and ill fire on your behalf. I'm tempted to take Pyle myself now but as it stands I have no play on and made 10 bucks profit or so

Adding 0.2u Heatherly +326, 0.4u Niinimaki -135 0.4u Dariush +113 and another 0.5u on Kim +176 (I just can't see why Kim is nearly a 2-1 dog here when I cap it around evens)

Adding 0.4u on Wee -230 (he really impressed me in his last fight and is facing a nobody who is 1-1 vs nobodies) and 0.2u on Milena Dudieva -150 (mostly for the sweat but also I think Phillips is pretty bad)

Also added one more small parlay w a combo of my picks. My two big parlays (both to win ~9u for 0.15u and 0.06u respectively) are Dudieva, Wee, Covington, Reis, Daruish, Niinimaki, Vick, Holloway, Carmont, Bendo and Reis, Daruish, Vick, Holloway, Carmont, Bendo, Mein, Le, Kim

Cung Le by KO +480 (1u)
Woodly KO +305 (1u)
Covington -330ish (1u)

Mein ITD +100 (1u)
Lazaro +130 (1u)
Saunders ITD -125 (1u)

Dudieva is crushing her standing and with takedowns but she's giving away rounds with these sweeps potentially

I think judges give r2 to Phillips, I still have r1 for dudieva but phillips ended the round on top landing gnp so who knows

Dudieva is by FAR the better fighter though from what we've seen except for giving away top position

I have it 19-19 but who knows

I mean I like her style trying to finish but thats 3 times she's given away top position trying to finish - if she loses the fight and that seems likely now that's the area she needs to drill before her next fight

She handed that fight away. Sloppy, and rushed transitions when on the ground.

Edit: lol, guess it's going to be one of those nights.

I like Dudievas style more and bet on her but that was definitely 29-28 Phillips. lolrobberies etc

I suppose it's not the worst robbery ever as she hurt Phillips standing in r2 but she spent 3 mins on her back getting owned so whatever

The commentator with 'that was just terrible' to describe the decision

Let's go Royston Wee

Also, loving my Le and Kim bets now especially if judging's iffy today it'll likely be in favour of Le and Kim

Such a clear grappling advantage. Hopefully he just attacks the takedown instead of attempting to set it up.

Running good with the judges tonight, 3/3 so far. missed the fights after wee until now was at dinner. Back now.

All parlays live which is nice. Got Holloway +100 now for the card later today for 0.6u effectively and a few legs down in one of my big parlays

Adding 0.2u each on Yang and O'Reilly for sweats since I don't particularly like any of the lines on either fight and they're the two I want to cheer for

DHK line just seems ridiculous, if Woodley doesn't put him to sleep in r1 I definitely like Kim to win. Overall I see the fight as a flip and at +174 it just seems so good but i'm against the steam already and have a few units on so i'll leave it for now I guess. As long as 1/2 of Kim and Le win i'll have a nice winning card.
