LOL if he can do that at 42 and pass all tests as a headliner. I mean I assume almost all of them juice to some degree, but that's going full ******.

Passing a drug test in Macau is just a question of how discreetly you can slip bribes.

Oh yeah it's in Macau. Pretty sure UFC does its own testing there, but they'd be strongly disincentivized to random-test the headliners during camp. And if it's day-of only, anybody can beat that.

urine tests don't pick up HGH and fighters told at beginning of camp if they're facing the random testing..

Is it surprising? We're talking about a sport where PRIDE straight up encouraged it's fighters to roid, and the UFC pulled **** like letting Vitor take fight after fight in Brazil knowing he was juiced out of his mind and that he could get away with it there.

Yeah like I said I assumed there is tons of cheating now (and had no doubts about PRIDE), and knew they'd sort of hide fighters, but I'd never paid enough attention to it to realize that most of the fighters KNEW they weren't under any risk of a random test for a given fight. I just figured they were gambling on stuff with short detection windows and known-to-be-lazy commissions, not that they knew they had carte blanche to cheat with anything as long as they could get off it in time.

I think 20-1 seems fine on DHK, Kim's roughly at evens vs Woodley, then probably +200 to +250 in his next fight vs I assume whoever doesn't get a title shot out of Rory or Lombard then about 50/50 to get a title shot after that and say +300 vs Lawler, Hendricks or the other of Rory/Lombard or GSP in a title fight. If he wins the Woodley fight he's at #5, if Lawler loses to Hendricks he's out for the foreseeable future, if he wins that hurts my bet though. If Saffiedine beats Rory he could theoretically jump the queue but that eliminates Rory as a contender so thats fine. I think Kim is slightly over 50% to get a title shot if he wins his next two and close to 100% if he wins his next three. He estimated his chance of beating Lombard at 30-35% from memory and he strikes me as a guy who gives honest analysis and does believe he can win even if he's not going to be the favourite.

Silva I just feel like if he can sort out his cardio he still arguably has the best offense at 170 he just needs to sort out his defense and cardio and he had some sort of nasal surgery from memory that might help so who knows - 60-1 seems about fair because a) he's probably just going to keep losing to elite guys and b) he'll have to probably win 5-7 straight to get a title shot and I guess c) no one wants to lay 60-1 unless it's +EV which I admit it probably is to fade me here
My $2,000 vs your $100. If Kim loses once before winning a title I win. If he wins a title without losing you win.

Considered it booked if you want

Kim should be 3 fights away from winning a title, assuming he wins first 2. Tyrone, then a top 5 fighter, and then for the belt.

Booked yoyobo, my 100 vs your 2k

Good luck

I probably don't quite have the best of it EV wise but I think he's live against everyone in the top 10 right now including the champ and #1 contender, I actually think rory mac might be the worst MU but even then he can be tentative and if kim brings the pace he might get it done. Assuming DHK is +125 or whatever against Woodley, +200 to +250 against Lombard/Rory in #1 contender fight and then +300 vs the champ the price seems about fair.

What odds can I get on 'UFC WW Champ on Dec 31 2015 is DHK, Lombard or Rory Mac' with the following stips (if the champ is out injured and any of my guys hold the interim title, bet remains live until they fight to unify belts or my guy loses interim belt to someone not on my list and it's a loss if they lose the interim belt to someone on my list it continues until they fight the champ, if champ is stripped and interim is promoted to champ it's a win, and if any of my guys are booked in a fight for the actual title (not interim) on Dec 31 2015 the bet ends on the date of the title fight as scheduled, but if title fight is delayed past the announced date it's a loss for me)

Also interested in what price I can get on the same prop but with GSP added in (even though he's currently retired), or with the bet being a push if GSP is champ on the date.

Field here for fighters who could possibly get a title shot by Dec 31 2015 is Hendricks, Lawler (one of whom is champ as of next fight), Woodley, Condit, Askren, Maia, Brown, Saffiedine, Gastelum, Nelson (don't think it's possible for anyone else to get a title shot at WW in time)

Don't think you win more than 2.3% of the time. That is being generous and assuming there aren't injuries/rematches.

Kim's last two fights he beat Erick silva and Hathaway.. So what? His striking is really reckless, and his top pressure won't work vs top guys. Also his cardio isn't all that great.

Don't think I could bet against Lombard/Rory holding a title in 2015 at worst than +200 though.
