wow r1/3 closer in sig strikes than i thought

Lawler should have the dec locked up but r1 was close enough it isn't absolutely a lock

That looked like a head kick to a downed opponent - close round, Brown got the better of the first half of the round and Lawler the second half

Overall I think Lawler deserves the decision but I think I had the right side of it at +300ish and i'm probably +600 or something to get the decision. I expect something like 49-46 48-47 48-47 Lawler but i've been surprised before

Lawler over all boxing was smooth and excellent but browns thai sht was sweet but no real marks on Lawler and he did get nicely elbowed a good couple of time, Lawler does not mark easy...?

Brown is awesome but Lawler def is at least half a level above brown?

if brown could hit as hard as Hendrix would be better fight. Lawler never even flinched really even when getting hit clean.

Looked like Brown broke his right hand.

i could be wrong, but i remember in the first or the second brown hit him with a 2 and then threw a 3-4 shot combo including a right elbow to the temple and lawler looked hurt. But that is the only time I thought he was significantly hurt all fight.

In the first I thought we were going to see an uppercut knockout w/ the way brown was circling out low and right off of every over hand right. Brown came out super stiff, and even hurt, he looked to be in it. He's much better than I thought.

Yeah he walked into that same counter uppercut like 500 times early and a few times late.

what was that shoody sort of backing out thing that brown was doing, like that really amature backing out and bending down kind of thing and to the right, whilst exiting.

I am not a MMA expert but how come Lawler was not doing that kind of thing? surely that is a mistake to make and also I remember once in fighting you never ever spin around and expose your back in a fight like that is a no1 thing to never do.

No beat down on brown just he was not moving a high level like lawler?

Any one able to answer that question about where he would back out and look like a kid in a play ground fight kind of thing not a professional fighter, what should he have been doing better.

Did brown come to MMA late ?

If brown was smoother and more aware like an Anderson silva he would be un stoppable.

Editl: You have to give both guys credit for their cardo... none of us could even more like that for 30 seconds..

He was just moving out on an angle. But it was the same angle every time. Alvarez throws square right leads a lot and uses that same right and down movement to angle out of harms way.

Brown does it because when he throws the right, the right side of his face is exposed, so he ducks out and to the right. Problem is, he kept using it after an exaggerated overhand that he didn't always set up with anything, so i kept holding my breath and thinking lawler would step in w/ a knee or an uppercut and brown would duck right into it. He got caught REAL clean a couple times, but managed not to catch a face melting shot.

The first ever UFC fighter with 4 first-minute KOs.

Reiner, Speer, Yoshida and Nogueira.

Spoiler:

P.S. Brenneman lasted 2:49.

Yeah fk this, good call on Bermudez he looked absolutely awesome, completely shutdown Guida. I pretty much lost all my bets, gg. Not even Thomson could pull one out for me and I had most on him.

Thomson should gotten it IMO. But he cost himself big time by refusing to fight to his strengths.

I know it's a few weeks away but I'm hammering Bader. He should be steeper than -170 for sure IMO against OSP.

ovince has been awesome lately, intrested in that line. bader has been awesome as well though

ran silly yesterday, made a big bet on inside the distance on brown lawler and got 1.27 on it, insane odds =)

Obviously I'm very sad that Brown lost and the decision was right. I was really impressed with Lawlers stamina and if he had that gas tank vs. hendricks then he'd have won when they first fought.
Browns bad weight cut coupled with Robbies big shots took Brown off his game plan of pushing the pace. Thus Lawlers didn't get tired.

Great fight and I think Lawler will beat Hendricks and I hope brown gets a fight vs a top 7 opponent after his hand heals as it def looked broken in r5

I think I like Bader over OSP too, if you ignore him randomly getting dropped by Tito and choked out while stunned when he was a bit greener his only losses are to Machida/Teixeira/Jones who are all top 5 and he has some nice performances in there. I think he's legit top 10 and I don't think OSP has proven he is yet.

Perpetuo vs Means started well. Hernani was outclassing him on the feet like he was supposed to. Then in round two he started to fade away. And in the third he was fighting with one hand. GG.

Cruickshank was even more impressive in the first round. I was counting my money after the knockdown. But no finish. Second round was spent on the mat and well that is not his strong suite. Third round was looking awful again when Masvidal got a hold of him. But then he threathened Jorge with a kimura and got out to his feet again. But what does the Taekwondo specialist do seconds after he has gotten out off the death clutch ? Shoots for the takedown of cource. GG

I'm tempted to take Diaz/Diffley isn't Diaz's next fight he's going off on twitter right now like a mental patient about Diaz and the UFC sending hitmen after him in the grocery store or something

I can't see the UFC signing him if this is how he acts

It took 2 years to get Diaz to sign a contract , they better not waste it on Difley.

Not to mention most of their beef is really ridiculous.
