How can Anderson's career end like that? Now we'll never know whether he still had it, whether he could beat Weidman etc

I guess Belfort's a good test and Sonnen is snap going back to MW but still that's so ridiculous

Wow ... sad if that's Silva's ending, feel for him, but Weidman, man the guy can't catch a break. Have a lot of doubt he's gonna get credit for this fight as well.

Apparently Anderson is in serious pain backstage on a stretcher, I think it's probably a career ender but hopefully it won't affect him later in life. If that's the last time we see him then thanks for the memories Anderson, you're one of the main reasons i'm an MMA fan

Awful, just awful. We got no closure from this fight. We knew Weidman would most likely win the first round, like he did in the first fight, like hendo did, Lutter etc. Question mark was what happens in r2, r3 when both fighters are a bit more gassed and weidman cant take down AS as easily.
Imo, AS opportunity of being memorized as the worlds best MMA just passed him by. The question is, when AS was ruling, was the division weak that it made look like AS was the best?

This fight doesnt really state much as far who is the better mma fighter... It does show by far that weidman is the better wrestler..... He caught silva with a nice punch on the ear.... Anderson recover and he actually did good on the bottom.... Second round was just sad... Weidman is a legit fighter but sucks that I will never know if anderson could be a wrestler with gnp....

I hope Weidman gets the credit he deserves. He was winning the fight, and checking the kick there was perfect timing.

As an Anderson fan it may take me a bit to recover from watching that though.
