I hate this fight most of all. The heavyweight division is made up of a champion who is a level above the number 2 guy who is a lvl above the rest of the division.
Rather than see Antonio Silva fight Mark Hunt, I'd rather see Brown fight Silva and try to avenge his only loss and have Barnett fight Werdum as oppose to having Werdum fight Valasquez who should be able to steamroll through Werdum. Then, if Browne wins, have him fight for the title and if Barnett wins, have him be in line for the next shot. I know its too late for any of this but having two of the top guys in such a top heavy division compete for one to advance and the other be set back, makes no more sense than having Cormier fight Gus.
As far the actual fight at hand, If Browne can work on stuffing the takedown, I see him beating Barnett. I wouldn't want to see either of these guys lose for the reason mentioned above, but Barnett is one of my all-time favorite fighters so obv I'll be routing for him.

I agree completely that all Lawler has is a punchers chance (the only way he came out of his fight with Melvin Manhoef in 1 piece was because of that). On the ground, Lawler is awful and has lost multiple fights by submission (Jacare, Mayhem, and Shields for instance). His standup is, at best, descent (although a while ago in Lawlers career, in his fight against Mayhem, if I remember correctly, threw 3 punches and a kick in the entire first round and was absolutely destroyed by Mayhem throughout the fight - If you watch Lawlers fights since then, his standup has not improved much). And, only a few years ago, lost a 3 round decision to Babalu (which is lol bad considering where Babalu was at that time in his career). To finish Koscheck, Voelker (which I will admit was prolly the best Lawler has ever looked), and Lindland (who has been KO'd more than prolly Duane Ludwig) is not overly impressive.
Rory Macdonald should be able to take Lawler down at will and impose his will on him. And even if the fight remains on the feet, I see Rory really falling back on his jab for both inflicting damage and keeping distance (just like he did against Condit).
