That knee was viscous.

I don't get why people are suddenly so insistant on Jones vs Silva instead of GSP vs Silva

GSP and Silva are probably as close in size as Jones and Silva, and the GSP/Silva talk has been going for much longer.

he went off at -840 on 5d

Glad Rogan pressured for the Jones fight, the GSP fight is irrelevant in comparison. Silva should fight Jones to secure his legacy as best ever a GSP win wouldn't do that.

Anderson is also already fighting at 205

ho-ly ****.

never seen anything quite like this. idk how anyone could say he isn't the goat.

And yes best card in years and years.

I hope many bonuses are given

Now people will be mad that he says he's not fighting at 205 anymore.

Even though when he fought at 205 people were complaining that he wouldnt fight weidman who deserved it.

When you're the best there will always be people who have problems with you.

In all honesty, silva would be ill-advised to play rope-a-dope and let his hands hang low against GSP and especially jones. Eventually that style/showboating might catch up with him. Maybe he knows that and only does it against bums (relatively).

GSP is gonna be spamming the TD more than Chael

Yeah, thanks for the sweat gg

Bonnar was looking as good as he could have there, I was starting to believe he could go the distance, then nope silva precision

I can't help it I want to see Silva fight Jones simply because his chin is insane and each round starts standing and if anyone can land on Jones and put him out it's Silva (followed by Machida)

Also if Silva fights GSP i'm betting a LOT on Silva. Five rounds that start standing equals lights out for GSP eventually. Same with Weidman. As much of a Bisping fan as I am, it won't even look competitive. Silva will simply never lose until he gets too old, and evidently he ages even better than Randy Couture

Silva would have a real hard time vs Jones, Jones and bonnar are so far from each other, completely different fighters and different skillsets. I personally think Silva would lose that fight.

i'm biased, but god damn. pretty sure andy would knee god's sternum.

the clowning wasn't bad. he's mocked people before, this was mocking but more of a 'come on back if you think this is where you can beat me'.

i'm still just shaking my head.

I parlayed my own top 4 picks too... for 0.1u lol I did like them all a lot and probably should have put a full unit on, I suggested it in thread even then didn't end up doing it.

Brandao/Maia/Nog/Jason at +231 is some pretty solid value for a parlay though imo I really think it hits about half the time or close to it. My non-3 star picks if we can call them that (the ones I put less than 3u on I guess) didn't go so well and I missed the over/unders so I only won about 2 units and change for the card, maybe 3 i'd need to double check but still, winning card and if Cane had got the decision I thought he'd get in Brazil given how close r1 was I would have won more like 7u

Just out of curiosity what is a unit? The amount of money you bet per fight?

If Silva had time to bulk up and prepare at 205 I wouldn't bet against him. Machida found Jones' chin and Silva has even better striking than Machida.

Jones would have to TKO or Sub Anderson on the ground in the first or second round standing with him for less than a minute in each to be a fav imo. Given Belfort lasted 4 rounds with him, I think Silva would get it done. Silva has a better chin than Machida and Belfort too.

To be honest if my life depended on it i'd take Anderson Silva with 3+ mths prep time to move to LHW over Jones at evens.

the average amount you bet per fight yeah

so for me i consider a unit to be $100, since my bets range from like 25-700 depending on the value of the fight

my biggest bet today was jason at 570 (5.7u) then maia and nog at 500 (600 incl bets against you so technically they were both bigger) and then i had 250 on cane, 350 on brandao, 80 on prado etc etc

biggest bet i've ever made is probably rich over wandy which was about 11u or so, and i regularly make 0.1u bets and stuff just for a sweat in a spot where i think my bet may be neutral or negative EV but I want to cheer for someone eg. if i'd bet moraes/forte today it would have been 0.1u or something since i didnt like either line
