What are you doing? If capping yourself, you are betting on way too many leagues. If you are using a model, you should read this paper: http://projekter.aau.dk/projekter/fi...cerMatches.pdf

Either way, no analysis - your picks are just randomly losing to the juice. I used to post here on football but there's not much point.

If it's so easy to bet favorites an win all the time then why dont they do it??? Enough said.

I'm new here

Thanx Gunner for your tips, I love reading them and trying them out.

I'm Swiss and know the swiss SuperLeague championship really well so maybe I could be of any use in the betting here.

for next week end already tipped :

FC Sion - BSC Young Boys, BET BSC YOUNG BOYS @ 3.10

Really good deal, Young Boys are the 2nd biggest club here and they just got their best striker back from suspension, and scored 3-0 and 4-1 in their two last games. They are back on track, play efficiently and need to get points.
FC Sion ist first after the 5 first games. But having watched their games, they played poorly and had alot of luck overall.

Servette FC - FC Zürich, BET FC ZÜRICH @ 2.40

Excellent deal, Servette (smallest budget of the league) have many many injuries, so basically they have the youngsters playing. It isn't going well at all, as they are having tremendous difficulty scoring.
Zürich really should win.

FC Lucern - Grasshoppers Club Zürich, BET FC LUCERN @ 1.90

Not so sure on this one, as GCZurich show good qualities in the past games. Lucern is the big favorite any are going to give everything to finally get 3 points.

FC Thun - FC St-Gallen, BET FC ST-GALLEN @ 3.30

St-Gallen had a good start this year so I'll bet on them, even if it's in my view 50/50... The two teams are at the same level, Thun with more A-league experience as St-Gallen comes from B-league, but I feel St-Gallen will make it.
There is no favorite like the bookies might suggest. Risky (50% chance) but totally worth it !

Last one, FC Basel - Lausanne-Sport... Forget it. Basel only @1.20 and have Champions League Quali 3 days after. B team will make it entirely possible for Lausanne to draw or win if they play well. Wouldn't put a single coin on this.

So those are the most interesting bets in my mind for the Swiss championship next week-end...

Does any here do fantasy football team props? Kinda wanna get my gamble shoes on going into the new season with a fantasy league, curious if that's already a thing here?

Also really like Man U to win the league @ 12/5.
Thanks y'all!

Fist time contributor to this forum.
I have some decent football (soccer) knowledge

Tonight kicks off the Capital One Cup and there is some value tonight across some games.

Swindon vs Brighton
Swindon have been in pretty poor form pre season and although looked outstanding last season in their charge to the trophy I think they will come unstuck here against the championship side.

Plymouth vs Portsmouth
Portsmouth have no senior players to pick team from and have to use youth team and acadamey players. Plymouth have also made a few good signings during the transfer window.

Northampton vs Cardiff
Northampton's first choice keeper is injured until October, and they didn't have the funds to sign one short term. Their only other keeper available is the youth keeper so it looks like they'll be forced to play their young keeper tonight.
Cardiff recently beat a relatively solid Newcastle side and tonight's opposition look like they will have another struggle in league 2.

I live in the uk so I have no idea how useful my 7/4 odds means to everyone else because I have no idea what + 250 etc means.
I will include next time anyway.

posting picks without odds is pretty meaningless. dont worry well be able to convert odds. 7/4 = 2.75 = +175

Germany - Argentina, BET ARGENTINA HCP 1:0 @ 6.25

Germany are without players like Lahm, Klose, Schweinsteiger, Gomez, Neuer and more. Argentina have all their main players including L.Messi.

I think it's a good bet to go for. They can score goals against Germany.

My bets for Friday 17th August :

LOSC Lille - AS Nancy, BET LOSC LILLE HCP 0:1 @ 2.20

Lille will show great ambition in their brand new stadium this Friday.

Lens - Dijon, BET DIJON @3.20

Great bet even if it won't be an easy game for Dijon. But they started the season with a great defense, only conceded 1 goal in the 3 games, and have 9 points.

hesitated between X and 2, but Dijon has my favor.

Tours FC - FC Nantes, BET FC NANTES @ 2.80

Laval - Niort, BET NIORT @ 3.20

Caen - Clermont Foot, BET CAEN @ 1.91

Clermont Foot have many new unexperienced players and need time. Caen should win the game at home.

Le Havre AC - GFC Ajaccio, BET LE HAVRE AC @ 1.87

Le Havre clear favorites. Didn't start the season that well with lack of luck. They need to win this in their own stadium.

My bets for Saturday 18th August.

QPR - Swansea QPR WIN @ 1/1

QPR have really brought in some decent signings this summer,Andy Johnson,Robert Green,Junior Hoilett aswell Park Ji Sung from United.Swansea on the other hand have barely brought in any new notable signings at all,Brendan Rodgers jumping ship, with the loss of Joe Allen in the middle of the park also i really fancy QPR to win this one,Swansea last season really struggled away from home. Both teams full strength.

West brom - Liverpool Liverpool @10/11

Again both teams have fit squads to pick from, looking at the likely Liverpool lineup i think they will just have way to much power for an average West Brom team.Brendan Rodgers will want to hit the ground running! Was tempted to go Liverpool with a -1 goal handicap but opted just for the win instead.

Got the double with Skybet @2.82/1.... £200 for a return of £763.64 locked in.

Can you give an example where new manager didn't want to hit the ground running? Also, considering its round 1 which teams don't have fit squads? IMO Liverpools just barely an above average team.
