Everyones wondering, don't see the harm in asking. If it is a long standing issue, he'll be used to and perhaps slightly annoyed by the question, if it's a new issue that'll be over soon, he won't care and probably has a fun story, and if it's a new issue that won't be cured, that sucks and life goes on. Being self conscious about stuff over the internet is weird, I don't see the issue with asking.

whats wrong? ive just wondered. maybe he's got a story to tell. if not, thats cool. one of the more interesting threads i've read on 2p2 is 'ask me what life is like in a wheelchair'. if the guy was super secretive about it, i doubt he'd even share all that he's shared to begin with.

ot a problem in my dads PC

The HDD is not being recognized.

The CD rom drive is recognized, the mouse and keyboard work, but I cannot boot the computer. I go into BIOS and it says the HDD is not installed.

I was thinking first HDD problem but also too the screen is all squiggly and hard to read making me think it might be a mother board issue

Is it worth the 290$ difference to upgrade?

I have the macbook and upgraded the ram to 4. Def worth it imo. No use in getting pro without 4 gig ram.
